Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus, surrounded by her loved ones, Karen Alice Richman passed from this life on Friday, November 12, 2004 at the age of 56. Dear mother of Christina Klarenbeek (Michiel) and Michael Hessel (Krysy). Loving grandmother to Aleander and Breanne Klarenbeek. Survived by her beloved sister Connie Purcell (Norm) and by brothers Kenneth, Barry (Barb), William (Rainy) and Christopher, as well as nieces Meagan (Purcell) and Maria (Richman) and nephew Jonathan (Purcell). Predeceased by her former husband, Peter (Hessel) , her mother Mary Millian and brother Ted (Richman) and nephew Matthew (Purcell).
Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, November 16th at 2 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne Street) with Rev. Charles Scott officiating. Suddenly, on November 15, 2004 Nicole Anne Makris of Cambridge, in her 34th year at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus. Loving wife of Steve and mother of Xavier. Nicole is survived by her parents Derek and Elaine Speller and her brother Ryan. Loving granddaughter of Winnifred Anne Speller. Daughter-in-law of Stratos and Aglaia Makris of London.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Thursday, November 18th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 472 Richmond, on Friday, November 19, 2004 at 11 a.m. with The Very Rev. Terry Dance officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Lupus Association of Ontario would be appreciated by her family.

Emeila June McInnis passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in her 66th year. Loving wife of Ira McInnis. Dear daughter of Elizabeth Zmeko. Dear sister of Eve and Lillian of London, Esther (David) of England and John of London. Predeceased by father John Zmeko and sister Amy Zmeko.
At Emeila’s request, there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating.
Erminia (Rossi) Sandri
Erminia (Rossi) passed away peacefully and with dignity on Tuesday November 16th, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Cesare (2002).
Loving mother of Lina (Bruno) Pittao and Patricia Sandri. Dear Nonna of Tommy (Diane) Pittao, Tracy (Benjamin) Hill and Tina (Wayne) Parry. Adored Bis Nonna of Jordan and Joshua Pittao, Madison and Miranda Hill and Lucas and Zachary Parry.

Ellen Ackermann
At London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus Palliative Care Unit, on November 18, 2004, Ellen Ackermann in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Theodor Ackermann (1993). Dear aunt of Shoshana Rosenbaum of Israel.
A Holocaust survivor, she faced many health problems with courage and optimism. Sincere faith in a personal God and love of music sustained her. Trained in musicology and nursing/physio, she cheerfully shared her knowledge to help others.
Her friends will remember her intelligence, humour, avid interest in the world around her, youthful spirit and vocal capacity.
The funeral service was held at Beth Tefilah Synagogue on Friday, November 19, 2004 with Rabbi Lazar Gurkow officiating. Interment Or Shalom Cemetery.
