WINTERINK, Michelle Elaine (nee Therrien) – peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, November 6, 2004, in her 41st year. Best friend and loving wife for ten years of Randy of Newcastle. Devoted mother of Natalie and Hayley. Cherished daughter of Jean-Guy and Beatrice (Betty) Therrien of Oshawa. Dear sister of Tammy and Dave Burdett of Cambridge; Daniel Therrien of Oshawa; and Sharon Therrien and Janet Donegan of Oshawa. Daughter in law of Albert Winterink and the late Everdina. Sister-in-law of Anne and Joe Theriault, Linda and Mike Dionne, Ron and Cindy Winterink, Ed and Sharon Winterink, and the late Ben Winterink. Grand-daughter of Muriel Farrell. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sid, beloved husband for 57 years of Joyce Stacey. Loving father of Jane (Mike), Judy (Bill), Jim (Beth), and Jerry (Carol). Grandpa of Sandy, Laurie, Brad, Stacy, Mike, Nicholas, Darryl, Lance, and Megan. Great-grandpa of Taylor, Joseph, Jordan, Alexandra, Conner, and Cooper. Son of the late Elsie and Edward Mackey; brother of Dennis, Beverley, Bonnie, Dale, and the late Doug. Loving grandmother to Shannon, Lisa and Mark. Sister of John Reid and his wife Elaine of Bowmanville and the late George Reid and William (Chic) Reid. Judy Miklos (nee Straub), loving wife of the late Dr. Laszlo S. Miklos. Devoted mother of Leslie Miklos and Joyce Ellard of Ottawa, and Brian Miklos and Sherry Gamble of Belleville. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jenne (Sean), Jessica, and Leon (Sarah). Sister of the late Elek Straub and Elizabeth Radics of Hungary and the late Janos Straub of Toronto. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Olga Devai. Gino Blink
BLINK, Gino - it is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gino Blink. Gino passed away peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital on Saturday October 16, 2004, at the age of 73. Father of Jocelyn, Gerard and Joanna, “Opa” to Ben, Nicky and Kayleigh, devoted owner of loved dogs and, friend to many. Gino, in his usual tenacious way fought a courageous battle against tongue cancer, lung cancer, and cardiac surgery. The family is extremely grateful to the staff in the Medical Care Ward at Bowmanville Hospital, and the staff at Toronto General, Mt Sinai and Princess Margaret Hospitals. We have been overwhelmed by their consistent ability to provide outstanding care and compassion to our father as well as emotional support to us. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Humane Society of Toronto.
