Joseph Earl Rogers ROGERS, Joseph Earl – peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday, August 14, 2004, in his 71st year. Joseph was a 30-year employee of the City of Toronto. He is survived by his loving wife Hilda (Tilley) of Wilmot Creek. Dear step-father to Donna Cadeau, Linda Warner (the late Bob), Rick Heisler (Heather), all of Toronto, Bob Heisler (Penny) of Ajax, and Judi Burns (Rick) of Trenton. Cherished grandfather of Suzie Armstrong (Court), Brent Cadeau, Chris Warner, Rich Burns (Jennifer), Tracey Robson (Jeff), Corey, Brett, Beau Heisler, and Alex Heisler. Great-grandfather of Trysha Robson and Rachel Burns. Joe will be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Beloved wife of Jerry MacDonald of West Hill. Loving and devoted mother of Stuart Smith and his wife Dena of Ajax and Fiona O’Donoghue of Scarborough, and also missed by their father Michael Smith. Sadly missed by grandchildren Tyler, Travis, Trevor, Sabrina, and Cordell. Loving sister of Sien Eikens of Orono, Henk and his wife Frances Mensen of Castleton, Lietje and husband Hendrik Brunen, Herman and wife Annie Mensen, Theo and wife Marietje Mensen, Jan Mensen, and the late Annie Westerman and Gert Mensen, all of Holland. LEES, John Daniel (Jack) – WWII Veteran, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 15, 2004, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Hope, Ontario, in his 79th year. Jack was the former owner of J&B Books in Trenton, Ontario. Predeceased by his first wife, Betty (nee Henderson), and children John Frederick and Elizabeth Ann. Also predeceased by his parents, George and Lillian Lees, formerly of Oshawa, Ontario, his sister Thelma Heard and brothers-in-law Angus Heard, Paul Tane Sr., and Gerry Whattam. Survived by his second wife Evelyn Wilkins of Marmora, Ontario. Loving father of George (Vera), Jim (Linda), Tom, Rick (Sharon), Laura, Susan Andrews (Glenn), and David (Jackie). Grandfather to Mike, Mikayla, Jack, Rayanne, John, Meaghan, Mackenzie, Chris, and Grace.
