(long-time resident of Orono, and member of St. Francis of Assisi CWL) – peacefully at Foster brooke Long Term Care Facility, surrounded by her loving family of friends, on Friday, December 19, 2003, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Jonckheere. Dearly loved and sadly missed by Mary and Alex Hegarty and their children Stephen, Timothy, and Jeffrey, to whom she was a special grandmother. PORTER, Dorothy A. (retired employee of Rockwell International for 25 years) – on Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, with her husband and friends at her side. Dorothy, loving wife and best friend of Ray Porter of Wilmot Creek. Sister of the late Robert Gilmour and sister-in-law of Linda Gilmour of Pefferlaw. Sadly missed by family and friends. Loving husband and best friend for 49 years of Margaret (nee Ovens) of Newcastle. Dear father of Julia Lynne Noble and her husband Randy Funk of Etobicoke. Grampa to Sarah. FREEMAN, Helen Grace (nee Matthews) – peacefully after a brief illness at Headwaters Health Centre, Orangeville, on Sunday, December 7, 2003, in her 85th year. Helen was the loving wife and lifetime partner of Charles Rosedale Freeman. Beloved mother of Wayne of Arthur and his late wife Lorna. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Tipping, Jean Reid, and the late Winnifred Banks. Helen will also be missed by her many friends in Wilmot Creek, where she was a founding resident.
