Step-father of James English (the late Nancy), the late Gerald English (Sonja), and daughter-in-law Jean Armstrong. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jennie Newson, Jeffrey Armstrong, Janice Armstrong, Lori English, Julie English, Katelin English, Andrew English, Erin Burns, Michael Burns, and great-grandchildren Ethan, Lucas, and Ava. Dear brother of Margaret Killen (Harold), William (Beth), Ronald (Arlene), and Sheldon (Evylen). Predeceased by brothers Charles, Burley, Ivan, and Roy, sister Myrtle, and parents John and Annie (nee Shadbolt). BOURNE, Arthur William – peacefully at Foster brooke Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in his 86th year. Dear husband of the late Jeannette Georgina (nee L’Abbe). Loving father of Luella and her husband Bob Taylor of Wilmot Creek, Shirley and her husband Brian Livesey of Courtice, and Jo-Anne and her husband Darrell Fletcher of Barrie. Sadly missed by grandchildren Tammy Taylor and Bernie Snjegotinac, Brian and Julie Taylor, Jennifer Marshall and Ken Sedore, Jeffrey and Vilma Marshall, Nicole and Jim Loptson, Melissa Wheeldon, Ryan Wheeldon, Jonathan Wheeldon, and great-grandchildren Liam, Shawn, Scott, Jared, Andrew and James. LOGAN, Gwendolyn Millie – (employee of Hunt’s Bakery, Loblaws Oshawa Shopping Centre, for 14 years; immigrated from England to Oshawa in 1960) – peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby, on Monday, April 5, 2004, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Adam Bell Logan. Loving mother of Dorothy Nickerson of Whitby, David Edward Logan and his wife Patricia of Santa Monica, California, and Gaye and her husband Clifford (Kiffy) Dixon of New Brunswick. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Walters of Berwick-on-Tweed, England. Survived by nieces and nephews in England. She will always be remembered for her love of traveling. A special thank-you to the nursing staff, 4th Floor, at Lakeridge Health Whitby.
