Antoinette (Deguire) Therien - 11/24/2003
passed away peacefully, at the Montfort Hospital, on November 22, 2003 at the age of 85. Beloved wife for 60 years of Oswald Therien. Mother of Pierrette, Jean-Roch (Christiane), Claude (Sheryl), François (Debbie), Carole (Georges) and Guy (June). Sister of Maurice Deguire. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Guylaine (Sylvain), Marc-André (Jessica), Marc (France), Daniel (Kerri), Nicholas, Alexa, Aimee, Jaysun, Kory, Mélanie (Lee), Eric (Leila), Carl (Stéphanie) and Alyssa; her great grandchildren Brandon, Samuel, Jaydan, Blake and Florence. She also leaves three special people: Fernand Jacob (Carole and Hervé), Michelle Bazinet and Lise Beauchemin. Special thanks to her goddaughter Michelle Dugal. She was predeceased by her parents Sophie Boisvenue and Anselme Deguire, one sister and three brothers. Friends may visit at the St-Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Tuesday November 25, 2003 from 2:00 to 5:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00 and Wednesday November 26, 2003 from 10am. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Louis Marie de Montfort Church, 749 Trojan Avenue. Beloved wife of Nelson for 42 years. Predeceased by her brother Douglas Drummond. Janet will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and her friends in the art community. Loving and proud father of Ian, Anne (Paul Lacroix), Allan and Jane. Grandpa-Dale to Nicole and Patrick Weldon, and Benoit and Elizabeth Lacroix. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Eileen Weldon, his brother Robert and sister Helen both in their infancy. Margaret passed away suddenly on November 25, 2003 at the West End Villa. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Roy White, she will be sadly missed by her brother Douglas (Arline) and her nieces Christine (Patrick) and Chantal (Stefano) and her grand-niece and nephew Veronique and William. A private family service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2003 at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe at 1 p.m. The family has requested that there be no public visitation. Loving mother of Linda (Rod Olsen) and Sandra (Leo Fahey). Cherished grandmother of Todd Fortier (Suzanne) and Tara Fortier, Terrence, Erin and Sean Fahey and great-grandmother to Taylor. Will be sadly missed by her sisters Gladys Booth and Joan Cameron. Predeceased by her father Sgt. Major Charles Harvey and her mother Blanche (Lauzanne), brother W02 Donald Harvey and sisters Mona Daly and Barbara Durham. Cremation. Bell Canada Retired Former Nepean Councillor Peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, age 63 years, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with ALS. Son of the late Leigh and Mabel Brown of St. Martins, New Brunswick. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Thomson) for 42 years. Dear father of Jeff (Myrna) of Calgary and Craig of Toronto. Cherished Grandpa of Mitchell and Trevor Brown. Also survived by his cousin Francis (JoAnne) Orchard of Fredricton, NB and Maurice Orchard of Toronto. Dear brother-in-law of Jean and Barry Nelson of Fredricton, NB. Al felt privileged to serve as a Nepean City Councillor for 10 years and was instrumental in helping organize the Nepean Youth Choir and was Building Chairman of Nepean City Hall and Centrepointe Theatre. He recently had been helping plan the second Al's Concert for ALS that will be held April 25 at the Cathedral. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral (Sparks Street) Ottawa on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2pm. Following the service the Brown family invite family and friends to a reception in Lauder Hall. On April 14, 2004, Edith Bryson, beloved wife of the late Tom Bryson. Survived by her daughters Valerie Pranke (Ernst), Ottawa and Sandra von Seggern (Richard), Aurora, CO. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Heidi Henry (Michael), Merrickville, Ontario; Eric von Seggern (Karen), Loveland, CO; Krista von Seggern, Santa Monica, CA; and two great-granchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sue Burton (Robert), Arlington, Mass. as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Irene, brothers Fred, Edgar, Art and Gerry.
