Helen Mason
Suddenly on Saturday, October 4th, 2003 at the age of 82 years, the former Helen Harriett Solomon Mandawoub of Saugeen First Nation, last surviving member of the Tom Solomon (TS) Mandawoub family. Wife of the late Chief James Mason. Mother of Hilliard Besito, Shirley, Mrs. Melvin Elliott, Marie Mason, Gary Mason and best friend Douglas Bignell, Kathlene Gayle Mason Stark and Bruce Stark, Theodore and Joanne Mason, Phillip and Janice Mason, Allan and Bonnie Mason, Elwood Mason, Gwen Mason, Margaret and Tom Kewageshig, Helen Ritchie and Tom Chisholm, Francis Kruger, Lori, Mrs. Darrell Jack, Deanna and Alvin Ingersol. Also survived by thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. Will be sadly missed by special nieces Norma Johnson and Serda Bongertman, and Duke Redbird, and Cherry Ann. Predeceased by her son, Mathew Randolph, daughter Leona Lawrence, grandchildren, Allister Mason, Greg Roote, Landon Roote, two great-grandchildren, special nephew Jack Richardson Redbird, niece Virginia Richardson, brothers Joseph, Patrick, Alexander, Basil, Amos, Clarence, Elgin Solomon Mandawoub, and sisters Lucy Solomon, Stella Solomon and Pauline Ritchie.
Friends may call at the James Mason Cultural Centre, Saugeen First Nation, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday. Funeral service will be conducted in the James Mason Cultural Centre on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Frank McGee officiating.
Interment Village Cemetery.

William Martindale
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday, January 7th, 2007 in his 79th year, Bill Martindale of Southampton. Beloved husband of the former Gladys Irene Tambling. Father of Ron and Linda of Paisley, Mervyn and Diane of Southampton, Leslie of Guelph, and Carman and Anne of Bruce Township. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Angela, Mary Anne, Elizabeth, Tim, Matt, Jason, Jenny, Caleb, Rebecca, and Travis, and by his sister Sonna. He is predeceased by his parents David and Ena Martindale, brothers Cecil and Sheldon, sister Mary Mailhuit, and by his son Don.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tony Geense officiating. Following the Interment, a reception with the family will be take place in the Community Room of the funeral home.

Majury, Daisy
At the Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, February 26th, 2003 in her 93rd year, the former Daisy Kerry. Beloved wife of the late Lawson Majury. Dear mother of Glen and his wife Dorcas of Southampton, and Yvonne Tottenham of Owen Sound. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and by her sister Marjorie Kerry of Toronto. She is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen St.S., Paisley from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Margaret Greenhow officiating.

Maggs, Sheila
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Friday, September 13th, 2002 in her 69th year, the former Sheila Jones of Paisley. Beloved wife of Richard Maggs. Dear mother of Kevin and his wife Liza of Cambridge, Sandra and her husband Stephen McNabb of Petawawa, and John and his wife Bridgitt of Mississauga. She is also survived by two grandchildren Alexander and Liam.

Roderick Mandawoub
At London on Wednesday, April 26th, 2006, at the age of 50 years, Rod Mandawoub of Owen Sound, and formerly of Saugeen First Nation. Son of the late Patrick and Elvina Solomon. Brother of Donald Solomon and his friend Christine McKenzie and David Solomon, all of Owen Sound, Bonnie McCue of Niagara Falls, Sally Solomon and her husband Ed Kellestine of Wyoming, and Tim Cumming of Barrie. Brother-in-law of Sharon Solomon. Predeceased by brothers Ronald and Hank Solomon, and by his sister Leatrice. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Friends may call at the Wesley United Church, Highway 21, Saugeen First Nation from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday and 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday. Funeral service will be conducted in the Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Maggie McLeod officiating.

Robert Main
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, August 30th, 2004, in his 83rd year, Robert Main of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Henrietta McLean. Father of Christina Schihl of Port Elgin. Grandfather to Rick Schihl and his wife Kerrie of Port Elgin, Joanne and her husband Rob Bauer of Burlington, Carol Schihl of Stratford, Janice Schihl of Port Elgin. Great-grandfather of Spencer and Taylor Schihl of Port Elgin, Sarah and Robert Bauer of Burlington.

MacRitchie, Murdo Murray
At the Kincardine Hospital, on Wednesday, June 6th, 2001, in his 78th year, Murdo Murray MacRitchie of Port Elgin. Beloved husband of the former Jean MacKenzie. Dear father of Jean Anne and her husband Lloyd Knuth of Thornhill, Murda and her husband Robert Schmidt of Newmarket, Deborah and her husband William Cple of Whitby, and Murray and his wife Diane of Whitby. Grandfather of Jeffrey, Gregory, Carrie, Ryan, Joanne, Bill, Mathew and Sheena. Brother of Alex, and Innis and his wife Catherine. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Kay MacRitchie and Dorothea MacRitchie. Predeceased by his brothers, Lionel and Donald (Dan) MacRitchie.

At the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound, on Saturday evening, January 4th, 2003, at the age of 78 years, the former Jean MacKenzie. Wife of the late Murdo MacRitchie. Mother of Jean Anne and her husband Lloyd Knuth of Thornhill, Murda and her husband Robert Schmidt of Newmarket, Deborah and her husband Bill Cple of Southampton, and Murray and his wife Diane of Whitby. Grandmother of Jeffrey, Gregory, Carrie, Ryan, Joanne, Bill, Mathew and Sheena. She is predeceased by her parents Hugh and Margaret MacKenzie.

At the Southampton Care Centre, on Friday, February 17th, 2006 at the age of 79 years, the former Beryl Cutsforth of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Richard MacNab. Mother of Betty and her husband Robert Gilmour of Southampton, Margie and her husband Allan Siddall and David MacNab, all of Owen Sound, Carol and her husband Howard Matz, and Dale and her husband Dave Finnie, all of Port Elgin. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters Doris Manley of Southampton and Arlane McTeer of Paisley. She is predeceased by sons Dennis and Johnny and by two brothers.

Allan "Mac" MacLeod
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Friday, December 26th, 2003, at the age of 83 years, Mac MacLeod of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Ellen Riebel. Father of Paul and his wife Diane of Mississauga, and Brenda and her husband Adam Nowak of Brampton. Poppa of Lindsay MacLeod of Mississauga. Brother of Mary Norman of Kincardine and Islay and her husband John Chappell of Port Elgin. Brother-in-law of Jean MacLeod of Inverhuron. He is predeceased by his brother Neil and his sister Jean MacLennan.

Allan "Mac" MacKinnon
At his residence in Port Elgin on Sunday, June 20th, 2004 at the age of 96 years, Mac MacKinnon of Port Elgin and a former long time resident of Embro. Husband of the late Lillian Sutherland. Brother of Archetta Brocklebank of Walkerton. Uncle to Gwen Wilson, Helen Kastner, and Phyllis Rasenberg. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Hilda Sutherland and Helen Kelly, both of Port Elgin, and by nieces and nephews of the Wilson, Sutherland, Howe, and Kastner families.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating. A memorial service for his Embro friends will be held at the Knox United Church in Embro on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Jim Evans officiating.

Murray MacKenzie
Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 17th, 2006, at the age of 76 years, Murray MacKenzie of Paisley. Husband of Betty (nee Bristow). Father of Murray and his wife Wendy of Paisley, Heather and her husband Adrian A’Court of Cobourg, Cameron and Rachelle, Laurie and her husband Jim (Bird) Fleming, Andy, and Deb and her husband Tom Gauthier, all of Port Elgin. Grandfather to nineteen precious grandchildren. Dear brother of Elinor Festa of Oakville. He is predeceased by his son Gordie, baby girl Susan, his parents George and Gertrude, brothers Don and Hector, and by his sisters Blossom and Doris.
