At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Friday, November 30th, 2007 at the age of 77 years, Ronald Mackay of Port Elgin. Husband for 55 years of the Rev. Patricia Mackay. Father of Bruce and his wife Kim of Calgary, Linda and her husband Ian Halupka of Mississauga, Brian and his wife Jeanetta of Brampton, Stephen and his wife Janet of Burlington, Caryn and her husband Lindsay Mahon of Schomberg, and Randall of Brampton. Proud Papa of thirteen grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin on Friday December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Reynolds officiating.

John MacKay
At the Southampton Care Centre, Southampton, on Friday, December 7th, 2007 at the age of 89 years, John MacKay of Port Elgin. Husband of the late former Olga Robertson. Father of Robert and his wife Joan, and Heather and her husband Mark Porter all of Saugeen Twp, Kathryn and her husband Bob Lindhorst of Wiarton, Jim and Audrey of Gatineau, QC., Don and his wife Ann, Brian, and Kenneth, all of Port Elgin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and by brother Gordon of Port Elgin. Predeceased by grandson Adam Porter, one brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) on Monday, December 10th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel, on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.

Norman MacGregor
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday , March 28th, 2004 at the age of 79 years, Norman MacGregor of Port Elgin, and formerly of Atikokan and New Brunswick. Husband of the late Ruby Ward. Father of Bruce and his wife Jean of Southampton, Stewart and his wife Marilyn of Port Elgin, and Glen and his wife Sherry of Thunder Bay. Grandpa to Tracy, James, Lee, Shane, Rory, John, Brent and Ryan. Great-grandfather of four. Surviving also is one brother Donald and his wife Fran of Cobourg. He is predeceased by his brothers Bob, Allan, Ian, and Ronny.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) on Tuesday, March 30th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Julia Morden officiating.
A reception will be held with the family immediately following the service in the Reception Suite of the funeral home.

At Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Friday, January 18th, 2002, in her 87th year, the former Margaret Caskanette, formerly of Bronte, (Oakville). Wife of the late Ivan MacDonald. Mother of James of Southampton, Garfield and William and his wife Deborah all of Burlington and Robert of Port Elgin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. Predeceased by one brother and seven sisters.
A graveside service will be held at St. Jude’s Cemetery, Lakeshore Road W, Oakville, west of Kerr Street, on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2002 at 2.00 p.m.,

Joan MacDonald
After a determined battle with Malignant Melanoma on Friday, May 21st, 2004 at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, at the age of 53 years, the former Joan Nickason of Tara. Loving wife, soulmate and best friend of Raymond MacDonald of Tara. Mom will be deeply missed by her children Rhonda and her husband Dr. Jeff Berry of Southampton, Dan and his wife Diem Trang Nguyen of Brampton, and Jason of Tara. Special grandma of Gabrielle, Bronwyn, Charlotte and Josephine Berry, and Ethan MacDonald. She is also survived by her mother Ruth Nickason of Allenford, and her siblings Pat and Murray Robinson, Ron and Pam Nickason, Brenda and Richard Evans, Ryan and Carol Nickason, Kathy and Gary McDougald, Ray and Judy Nickason, Annette and Les Anderson, Rob and Nicole Nickason, and their families, all of the Allenford/Tara area. She is predeceased by her father Neil Nickason.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, March 31st, 2004, at the age of 78 years, the former Jean Reeves, wife of George MacDonald of Southampton, mother of Wendy and her husband Randy Leslie, Kathy and her husband John Helwig, and Pete MacDonald, all of Southampton, and Barb and her husband George Tripp of Beaverton. “Nana” to Raegan, Robyn, and Ben Pilon, Kara and Kristy Helwig, Joshua Ament , and Dakota Leslie. Great-grandmother to Hunter, Chloe Jean, Jack and Sonny. She is also survived by one sister Lois French of Toronto. Predeceased by one son Brad in 1989, and by one sister Betty Krueger.

At Parkview Manor in Chesley, on Saturday, January 20th, 2001 in her 96th year, the former Aileen Tanner of Paisley. Beloved wife of the late John MacDermid. Dear mother of John of Elderslie, Don and his wife Georgina of Sauble Beach, and Susan MacDermid Diggins of Owen Sound. She is also survived by her grandchildren Peter and his wife Terri Lyn, and Paul and his wife Pam, both of Sauble Beach and Megan Diggins of Owen Sound, her two sisters, Bessie McKay of Chesley and Ida Turnbull of Port Elgin. Predeceased by brothers Wilfred and Harold and sister Nora Tanner.

passed away peacefully at her residence in Southampton late in the evening on Monday, June 17th, 2002, at the age of 90 years, Maude Lyver, wife of the late Patrick Lyver, Mother of Margaret Jackson of Southampton, Josephine and her husband Don Head of Buchans, Nfld., Mary and her husband Lew Chaulk, and Joan and her husband Barry Carter all of of Labrador, Nfld., Andrew and his wife Madeline of St. John’s, Nfld., Patrick and his wife Rita of Buchans, Nfld., Nicholas and his friend Maureen of Mississauga, and Calvin and his wife Lawrie of Sebright, Ont. She is survived by sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, one brother Michael of Halifax, and one sister Annie Nolan of Harricot, Nfld. Predeceased by sisters Sadie Byrne, Mary Chayter, Jessie Noseworthy and Helen Mitchell, and by brothers Peter, Bernard and John Byrne.

Grandma to Andrew, Katie and Steve, Stewart and Jamie, Tanya and Scott, and Amy and Scott Great-grandma to Taylor, Eleanor, Anna and Brea, sister of Barney Hopkins and his wife Madelyn of Tobermory. She is predeceased by brothers Harry and Carl Hopkins, and her sister Minerva Lees.
