At the Southampton Care Centre, on Monday, April 15, 2002, at the age of 90 years, the former Helen Bell. Wife of the late Walker Daniel. Mother of Margaret Esplen of Port Elgin, Elaine and her husband Jim Esplen of Burgoyne, and Doreen and her husband Bev Wark of Port Elgin. Grandma of Rick Esplen, Maxine Houle, Ken Esplen, Lisa Cobean, Kerrie Andrews, Scott Wark, Tanya Wolfe and Sarah Wark. Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bell, Isabel Bell and Hazel Reed. She is predeceased by two brothers Bob and Jack Bell, and by her son-in-law Mac Esplen.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17th. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.

Ida Mae D'Amour
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Monday, May 8th, 2006 at the age of 94 years, the former Ida Mae Tremblay of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Lorenzo D’Amour. Dear mother of Anita Bouchard of Port Elgin, Robert and his wife Marie Anna of Sudbury, and Gilbert and his wife Mary of Haileybury. She will be missed by her seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her children Royal D'Amour, Maurice D'Amour, Cleo D'Amour and Claude D'Amour.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10th. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, 920 Wellington St., Port Elgin on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Francis officiating.
Interment to take place in St. John’s Cemetery, Garson, Ontario on Saturday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. with Father Charles Mathieu officiating.

Robert Currie
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bob Currie of Port Elgin after a courageous and valiant battle against cancer on Dec. 19, at the age of 75. Bob will be dearly missed by his sister Esther and her husband Richard Wolfe of Horseshoe Valley and his three nephews, Christopher and Leila Wolfe of London, England, Jeffrey Wolfe of Horseshoe Valley and Richard and Rhonda Wolfe of Richmond Hill. A void will be left in the hearts of Bob’s greatnephews Matthew and Cameron along with greatniece Jillian Wolfe of Richmond Hill. Bob was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Jennie Currie of Port Elgin.
The family will receive friends at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin on Friday, Dec.21st from 2 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 3 p.m.
Interment will be the Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

She was predeceased by her husband Hamilton Currie and by her friend Murray MacDonald. Mother of Marilyn and her husband Bert Hatton of Port Elgin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kerry Hatton of Waterloo, and Derek and his wife Kim of Lucan, and by two great-grandchildren Shauna and Kara.
A private family funeral service will be conducted by the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin.

Father of Sandra and her husband Don Cox of Grand Bend, Scott and his wife Rosemary of Memphis, TN., Ken and his wife Margaret of Port Elgin, and Bob of London. Poppy of Stuart Cox of Toronto, Carolyn Cafik of Strathroy, Lea-Anne Cunningham of London, and Cassidy Cunningham of Memphis. Great-grandfather of Rachel Cox of Toronto. Predeceased by one grandson Justin Cox, and by two sisters Elsie Cook and Margaret Gilham. The family would like to acknowledge the memory of Miss Molly, whom Wray and Daisy dearly missed.
