Annie Bicknell
Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Southampton, on Friday, May 5th, 2006, at the age of 87 years, the former Annie McWilliam. Wife of the late Gerry Bicknell. Mother of Frank and his wife Sue of Queensbury, New York, and Linda and her husband Dave Mason of Port Elgin. Grandmother of Sean Bicknell., and Andrew and Adrienne Mason. She is also survived by her nephew Terry Bicknell and his wife Judy of Port Elgin, by her grand-niece Maureen and her husband Derek Rinn, and their children Anna and Patrick, all of Port Elgin, and by many nieces and nephews in Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and California. Predeceased by her three brothers, George, Bill and Frank McWilliam.
Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin on Wednesday afternoon, May 10th at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating. Family and friends are also most welcome to attend a reception at the home of Linda and Dave Mason, 1025 Wellington St., Port Elgin following the funeral services.
Memorial contributions to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Grey-Bruce Humane Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Gerald Bicknell
In Southampton on Monday, August 4th, 2003, at the age of 84 years, Gerry Bicknell of Port Elgin. Born in Manitoba on May 14th, 1919 to Howard and Hester Bicknell. Following graduation in Engineering from the University of Manitoba , Mr. Bicknell followed a career for 38 years with CPR. Husband of Annie Elizabeth Bicknell for 57 years. Father of Linda and her husband Dave Mason of Port Elgin, and Frank Bicknell and his wife Sue of Queensbury, New York. Brother of Alice Perkins of Clearlake Highlands, California. Grandfather of Sean Bicknell, and Andrew and Adrienne Mason. He is also survived by his grand-niece Maureen Rinnt and her husband Derek, his grand-grand-niece Anna Rinnt, and many nieces and nephews in Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, and California. Predeceased by his sisters Hester, Margaret, and Maude, and by his brothers John, George, Ernest, Donald, Oswald, Stanley, Edward, Leonard, and Allan. Mr. Bicknell loved carpentry and all sports; especially golf, curling, softball, bowling, hunting, fishing, basketball, billiards, swimming, and water skiing. He was an avid member of curling clubs in Kentville, N.S., Sherbrooke, Quebec, Clagary, Alberta, and White Rock, B.C. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII as a navigator in England and Burma Road, India.
A private graveside service will be held at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin with Pastor Bob Johnston officiating.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation for the Family Room. Funeral arrangements were in the care of the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, ONN0H 2C0.

Besito, Lennox Marshall Joseph
Suddenly on Thursday, April 11th, 2002, at the age of 36 years, Lennox Besito of the Saugeen First Nation. Son of Rowland and Mary Besito of Saugeen First Natio. Brother of Sylvia and her husband, Hubert John, Arron, Lori and her husband, Lorne Mandawoub, Philomen, Helena and Corinna Besito and Eliza Jane Henry, all of the Saugeen First Nation. Grandson of Louisa Mitchell and survived by his aunts and uncles and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the residence of Sylvia and Hubert John, #196 Scotch Settlement Rd., on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in Wesley United Church, Saugeen, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Frank McGee and the Rev. Eleanor Russ officiating.
Interment, Catholic Cemetery, Scotch Settlement.

Besito, Elwyn Rueben
At the Elders Lodge, Saugeen First Nation, on Monday, May 14th, 2001 in his 72ndyear, Elwyn Besito of Saugeen First Nation. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Pauline Besito and by his brothers Roland Terry Besito and Gordon Besito.
Friends may call at the residence of Elwyn Besito, #526 Scotch Settlement Rd., Saugeen First Nation, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 &

Benson, Howard Winston
At the Southampton Care Centre on Sunday, August 26th, 2001, in his 82nd year, Howard Benson of Port Elgin, husband of the former Jane Emeldi Black, father of Victor and his wife Sandy of Waterloo, and Richard and his wife Maria of Brampton.Grandfather of Nathan, John, Jeffery, Sarah, Victoria and Ricky. He is survived by his former daughter-in-law Lou-Ann Lehman and her husband Fred of Brampton. He is predeceased by his brothers Harry and Dick.

Robert Bell
After a brief illness at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, June 14th, 2005,in his 66th year, Robert Bell of Port Elgin. Much loved son of Isabel Bell of Port Elgin. Brother of Barbara Jane and her husband Victor Ruszczyk of R.R. #3, Hanover. Uncle of Tyna Ruszczyk, and Dr. Renée and her husband John Fleming of Guelph. He is predeceased by his father William John Bell.

At the Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at the age of 85 years, the former Isobel Kelly. Wife of the late James Bell. Mother of Dave of Bruce Township, and Sharon of Kitchener. Sister of Charles Kelly and his wife Helen of Port Elgin. She is predeceased by an infant son Murray in 1944.

Mother of Barbara Jane and her husband Vic Ruszczyk of R.R. #3, Hanover. Grams to Tyna and her friend Simon Merritt, and Dr. Renee and John Fleming of Guelph. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Isabel was predeceased by her son Robert James in 2005.

She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.

Funeral service will be conducted in the Port Elgin United Church, 848 Bruce Street, Port Elgin on Thursday at 11am, which the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating. Visitation will be held in the church from 10am until service time. A reception will be held immediately following in the Family Activity Centre of the church
