WATTERS - With her family at her side at Bluewater Health - Continuing Care on February 23, 2004, MARY KARETTA (LUND) WATTERS, age 68 of Sarnia. Born in Billingham, England, she immigrated to Canada with her parents and siblings in September 1952 and started working at Imperial Oil Refinery later in 1952. Karetta married Bill Watters in March of 1957 and raised two sons David and Douglas (wife Marina). Proud grandmother of Kaylea, Austin, Brysen, and Hunter. Dear sister of Helen Lund, Sarnia, Stella & husband Terry Chattington, Ilderton, and John & wife Debbie Lund, Woodstock. Beloved and much loved aunt of Jennifer and Lesley Chattington, London, UK, and Andrew Lund, Woodstock. Cousin of Mavis Killan, London, ON, and John & wife Anna McFerran, London, ON. Cherished friend for over 40 years of Jane & Max Haggett and family, Sarnia. Predeceased by parents John & Evelyn Lund. After several part-time jobs in Real Estate Offices, she joined the Lambton County Board of Education in 1969 working at Northern Collegiate for several years and then to Lakeroad Public School where she worked until her retirement in September of 1995. Wednesday 7-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church officiated by The Ven. Dr. Gordon J.J. Simmons. ARRUDA - CONCEICAO (TINA) Born 25 December 1965. Died at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario on Good Friday, 9 April 2004. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Loving daughter of Evaristo Medeiros Arruda of Sarnia, Ontario. Predeceased by mother Dialina de Sao Jose Moreira Furtado Arruda. She will be greatly missed by brother Antonio (Tony) Filomeno Arruda, sister-in-law, Dr. Wilma Grace Arruda, nephew Christopher Anthony, niece Brittany Grace of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Sister Maria de Fatima Arruda, brother-in-law Terrance Corry, nephews Ivan Nicholas and William Anthony Corry, all of Newmarket, Ontario. Cherished father of Dennis & wife Linda, Calgary AB, David & wife Ronnie, Sarnia, Jeannette Mellon, Sarnia, Dan & wife Denise, North Delta BC, Dean & wife Beverly, Courtright, and Doug & wife Shirley, Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Raymond, Todd, Jeannette, Bobbie-Jo, Derek, Nicole, Michael, Alyssa, Drew, Becky, Leigh-Anne, Nick, Matt, Gabrielle, and Kurtis. Also survived by several great-grandchildren. Harold was a retired Machinist and Systems Analyst for Esso Chemical with over 42 years service. He was a member of the Bluewater Golf Course in Bayfield and a summer resident of Pine Lake Family Campground in Bayfield since 1978. BUCHAN – At Bluewater Health – Continuing Care on June 8, 2004, NETTIE BUCHAN, age 69. Beloved wife of Edward for 43 years. Cherished mother of Sharon Vandendriessche & husband David, Sarnia. Sister of Olga Tisnic & husband Thomas, Saskatoon, Laddy Didur, Simpson SK, John Didur & wife Lois, Georgetown, and sister-in-law of Les McDonald, Swift Current and Verla Didur, Kensenton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Sophie and brother Matt, and parents Fred & Nellie (Regus) Didur. Nettie was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witness Riverview Congregation and served as a volunteer minister throughout Canada including Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. DUGUAY - At Bluewater Health - Norman Street, Sarnia on Monday, June 7, 2004 after a courageous battle with mesothelioma cancer, REGINALD NOEL DUGUAY, at the age of 61 passed away peacefully. Dearly loved son of Doris Duguay (predeceased by father Ovila Duguay - 1973). Reg is loved and remembered by sister Marquita McArthur and brother Reno Duguay and his wife Sandy, all of Sarnia and daughter Nicole DeJong and her husband Roger of St. Clair Shores, Michigan and granddaughter Giselle DeJong. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. CHORLEY - Peacefully, at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on August 26, 2004 LEONARD 'LEN' GEORGE CHORLEY age 93, of Sarnia & Corunna and formerly of Niagara Falls. Beloved husband of the late Iva (Aulthouse) (1994). Cherished father of Sharon Sandau & husband Rudy, Corunna. Dear grandfather of Scott Sandau, Corunna, and Brian Sandau & wife Angela, Waterloo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law William Aulthouse, and sisters-in-law Ruby Ring and Edna Rogers. Len immigrated to from England to Canada in 1921 and retired from Lionite Abrasives in Niagara Falls with over 20 years service. In 1984 he and Iva moved to Corunna to be closer to their daughter & her family. Len was a member of the Photography and Horticultural Clubs of Niagara Falls, and enjoyed his membership with the Family Campers and RVers in Niagara Falls and Corunna. Len lived at Residence on the St. Clair for the last three years.
