Rozenveld, Louise
Peacefully, in the loving care of her family, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, October 17 2004. Louise Danis Rozenveld of Strathroy in her 59th year. Survived by her brothers Noel and Maurice and sisters Lucy and Rhea and families and her sister-in-law Cecilia. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 11 AM with Father John Sharp officiating. Interment in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Candian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family sincerely appreciates the wonderful care and support given to Louise by the Strathroy A.C.T. Team and Strathroy Hospital.

Statham, Helen Joyce
Peacefully, at Strathmere Lodge, on Sunday, October 17, 2004. Helen Joyce Statham (Mabee) 79. Predeceased by husband Ken (1987) and son William (1961). Dear mother of Howard Statham of Strathroy and Rob and Mary Lynn Statham of Strathroy. Loving grandma to Amy and William Statham. Survived by sister Marion James of Mt. Brydges and brother Peter Mabee of Ottawa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen will be fondly remembered by many for her nursing skills at both Strathroy Hospital and Strathmere Lodge. In accordance with Helen's wishes there will not be a visitation, but cremation followed by a private funeral service. Arrangements are being made through Denning Bros. Funeral Home. Donations to the Alzheimers Society or to the Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family. Be at peace, Mom.

Corcoran, William Douglas
On October 16th, 2004 with courage and dignity, William Douglas Corcoran of Strathroy in his 71st year. Beloved husband and partner for 48 years of Margaret Corcoran (nee Gilbert). Loving father to Chris Carruthers and her husband Mark of Melbourne and Doug Corcoran of Lobo. Cherished and much loved grandfather of Alicia and Sarah Carruthers. Dear brother of Robert Corcoran of Cambridge and brother-in-law of Gerald Campbell of Lucan, Pat and Ross Ladell of Lobo and Rodger Gilbert of London. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation on Monday October 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Strathroy Uni ted Church with Rev. Marjorie Smith and Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Research Society Inc. would be appreciated by the family. A Masonic Service will be held Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. by the Doric Lodge #289 AF & AM of Lobo at the funeral home.

Michael Ryan Weiss
Though nothing can bring back the hour of Splendor in the grass, of glory in the flowers, We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind. - Woodsworth. Peacefully at Children Hospital of Western Ontario. Michael Ryan, aged 2, in the arms of his parents on January 19, 2002. Much loved brother of Zachary. Grandson of Franz and Regina Weiss of Appin and Frank (late) and Magda Van Opstal of Tillsonburg. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services by request of the family. Donations to St. Joseph's N.I.C.U. or Children's Hospital P.C.C.U. would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks to Dr. Manchanda and the staff at CHOWO for their care and understanding. Thank-you to the therapists at TVCC for their support and many visits. To our co-workers at Thames EMS in Strathroy, thank-you for your understanding and friendship. A special thank-you to :Nurse Kathy: for her support and wisdom and friendship until the very end. You will not be forgotten. Mark, Michelle and Zachary.

At Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Thursday, January 6, 2005. Evelyn (Benstead/Smith) Healy of Strathroy in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Smith (1964) and Thomas Healy (2000). Dear mother of Donald Smith and his wife Jean of Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Mike Smith and his wife Bernice of Strathroy. Great grandmother of Kyle and Ryan. Predeceased by 2 sisters Margaret Law and Florence Howard. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W. Strathroy on Sunday, January 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Father Willi Kammerer officiating. A Legion Ladies Auxiliary service under direction of Legion Br. 116 Srathroy, will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Cremation with Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Gauvin, Stephen
At the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, January 6, 2005. Mr. Stephen Gauvin of Hungry Hallow in his 53rd year. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Canada and abroad. Very beloved husband to Diana. Loving father to Adam and Hayley Gauvin. Dear son of Bob and Rene Gauvin of London. Fondly remembered by his sister Sandra Coughlin and his brother Wayne Gauvin both of London. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Stephen's life will be held at a later date. Butler, Paul Bentley
Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre Strathroy on Wednesday January 5, 2005, Paul Bentley Butler of Strathroy in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Winnifred (Moore) Butler of Strathroy and dear father of Kingsley and Ruth Butler of Nova Scotia and Brian and Marlene Butler of Strathroy, dear grandfather of Wendy Butler (Tim Arsenault) and Stephanie Butler of Nova Scotia, Jim (Jackie) Butler and Tracey (Kelly) Dundas of Strathroy, also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Duncan and Mary (Heard) Butler and a sister Marye Butler. Paul was an avid member of Strathroy Horticultural Society, Circus Fans of America, Pheasant Association, London Magic Club and was a past president of the Strathroy Lions Club. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Strathroy United Church Front St., W. Strathroy with Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Private family committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Building Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre (University Campus) on Friday, December 31, 2004. Antoinette Cornelia deVos of London in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Jacobus deVos. Dear mother of Kees, Jack (Ria), Mary-Ann (Pam), Jane (Bruce), Cobia, Margaret (Lance) and Anja (Steve). Loving Nanna of 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Holland. Predeceased by her son Atje, grandson Graham, her parents and 2 brothers. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Saturday, January 8 at 11 am followed by a Memorial Service at 12 pm with Father John Sharp officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy. Donations to the Alzheimers Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.

Waters, Mary Pauline
Early in the morning of Wednesday, December 29th, 2004, the Lord called. The call was answered. Mary Pauline (McCandless) Waters drifted from sleep to eternity, whereupon she was found by her life long friend Mrs. Mary Pierce and daughter Laurie. A dearer friend no one could deny. To you Aunt Mary, Laurie, Clifford, Edward, Michelle and family we are eternally grateful. You were the nucleus of her world, her family. She loved and cherished you all. Loving arms and outstretched hands will greet Mary in her new world; her wonderful and devoted parents Vila and Evan McCandless, who adored her, her loving companion Sig, who loved and supported her in mid-life. Lost in grief and missing her terribly are her twin daughters Emily Gayle Schroeder and Paula Jane (Miriam) Farbiasz. There with her daughters stands "The Little One" Maureen (Stevens) Nesbitt. She loved you Maureen. Mary counted you among her children. Saddened, missing her and bearing the weight of great support are, Mr. Paul Schroeder, loving husband to Emily, and Mr. Isaac Farbiasz, loving husband to Paula Jane. In the blush of early adult life Mary met and fell in Love with a most handsome young man, Ray Waters, who was to be her husband of many years. Together they walked the path of married and family life until, unfortunately, as with all things. The End Comes.... Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on Monday, January 3rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4th at 11am. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Higgins, George Edward (Ted)
Peacefully, with his family by his side, at London Health Sciences Centre (University Campus) on Monday, February 28, 2005. George Edward (Ted) Higgins of Strathroy in his 81st year. Beloved husband for 59 years of Jean (Gray) Higgins. Loving father of Judy Hart (Jim) of Sarnia and Ann (Cam) of Toronto. Loved gramps of Kevin Hart (Laura) of Toronto and Jeff Hart (Melanie) of Doha, Qatar. Predeceased by brother Bud and sisters Erna. Will be sadly missed by brother-in-law Gordon Gray (Pat) and family and sister-in-law Peggy Gray and family. Also survived by many friends. Ted served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942-1945 and was an avid airplane buff. He was a proprietor of Canadian Tire Stores in Sturgeon Falls and Strathroy (1960's) and he was a Secondary School Teacher in Parkhill and Glencoe for 20 years. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, March 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with Interment in Strathroy Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Gripton, Robert Bruce
At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, February 26th, R. Bruce Gripton of Caradoc Township, in his 60th year. Loving husband to Nancy. Will be remembered by children Janice (Mike) Gripton-Muylaert, Scott (Connie Stiff) and Christine. Loving grandfather to Ben. Sisters Earlene Monkman (Ralph) and Donna Limon (Bob). Will be missed by sisters and brothers in law Carolyn and Ray Gibson, Mary Ann and Doug Hipple, Bud and Diane Law. Also missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce was a proud member of the London Chapter of "The Men of Accord" Visitation will be held from the Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on Tuesday, March 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be held from the chapel on Wednesday, March 2nd at 1:30 pm with Reverend Thelma Perry officiating. Interment to follow at the Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society of Harmonize for Speech, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Hauk, Ilse Martha
At Strathmere Lodge on Tuesday February 22nd 2005. Ilse Martha (Buchler) Hauk in her 87th year. passed away with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Werner Hauk (2000). Dear mother of Horst and Patricia Hauk of Limehouse, Ontario, Brita and Earl Pranger of Strathroy, Lilly and Bob Turple, Ruth and Bob Bewick and Pam and Wilf Salter all of B.C. Predeceased by her children Norbert Hauk (1994) and Else Hauk (2003). Special Oma to Richard Hauk of Brampton, Ingrid and Jeff Pels of ChalkRiver, Chris and Christina Hauk, Jason Hauk and Bryar Stubbs, Heidi and Bob Lalich and Shawn and Marsha Pranger all of Strathroy, Terry Pranger and Jessica Lucas of Kerwood and Ryan Turple and Samantha Salter of B.C. Special great oma to Haley and Gabriel Pels, Kyle, Morgan and Curtis Lalich and Taylor and Alyssa Pranger. Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on February 25th from noon to 2:00pm when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment Strathroy Cemetery. Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Monday, February 21, 2005. Erno Szabo in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Anna (Meizer) Szabo (1971). Survived by daughter Zsuzsanna Kalsecz (Joe, 1997) of Belgium, son Ernie and Mary Szabo of Kirkton and son Laszlo and Brenda Szabo of Beeton. Predeceased by daughter Magdelena Kovacs (1999) and son-in-law Steve (1999). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Joe Kalsecz, Kati (Marc) Ternon and Stephen Kalsecz of Belgium, Ernie (Julie) Szabo of Exeter, Nick (Janet) Szabo of Cambridge, Sara Szabo of Kirkton, Matthew (Tara) Szabo of Hensall and Anna (Jim) Philpott of Kirkton and Leslie, Joseph , Michelle and Steve Szabo of Beeton.
