Audrey Dean
passed away quietly in her sleep on May 1, 2002. She will be missed by her friends, particularly her teacher friends in the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario - Mississauga Branch and her church family at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Etobicoke where she was an active member. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 11:00 am from Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Boulevard W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at Fourteenth St.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharon House Corporation (24 Montgomery Road, Toronto, Ontario, M8X 1Z4) or to any of the other charities Audrey supported. Patrick James Shields
Peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site. Loving father to Patricia McCormack and her husband Gary of Toronto, Terry Shields of Cobourg, Ron Shields of Toronto and Jennifer Shields of Toronto. Dear grandfather to Sarah and A.J. Peacefully in her sleep on May 16, 2002 at Lakeshore Lodge Home for the aged in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Stan and survived by her loving son John and daughter in law Joyce. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. followed by Interment at Prospect Cemetery. Karoline Jankowski
Peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 in Toronto in her 78th year. Dear mother to Morris and grandmother to Michael and Spencer. Also survived by other relatives in the Ukraine. Cherished grandmother of Sean, Kerrin, Peter, David, Martin, Quinn, Kelly, Connor, Liam, Aidan and Kieran. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers in Ireland and England. Eleanor Elizabeth Conway (nee Burwell)
passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John Maxwell Conway. Loving mother of John Conway, Kim Lee and her husband Doug, and Cheryl Conway. Cherished grandmother of Nicole Conway. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 3 p.m. at Bloordale United Church, 4258 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

Andrew Robert McCrindle
(WW II Veteran, Retired employee of Stelco Swansea Works)
passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 61 years of Lillian (deceased). Much loved and cherished father of David and his wife Linda, Janice and her husband Larry Reinhard, Wendy and her husband Don McNeil. Deeply missed by his grandchildren Bill and Cathy, Cindy, Brett and Danielle, Kyle and Lori, Scott and Chantelle, Ryan, and Lisa, and great-grandchildren Kayla, Alexandra, Sarah, and Dawn. Deborah Livingstone

Dorothy Evelyn O’Grady
Peacefully passed away in her sleep at Garden Court Nursing Home on Friday, June 14, 2002. Dorothy Evelyn O’Grady resided at 49 15th Street for more than 80 years. She will be fondly remembered by four nephews and five nieces (children of her late step-brother Norman O’Grady), cousins Viola Poulton, Reva Bell, and Carolyn Cacciacerro of Etobicoke, and Pamela Russo of Mississauga. Dorothy lived, worked (C.I.L.) and volunteered in her community for more than 80 years. Her fierce independence and Irish spunk will be missed by all who knew her. William (Bill) Benson

Peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2002 at Erin Mills Lodge in Mississauga in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Stewart Dixon Orr. Loving mother to Walter and his wife Ethel of Port Credit and Mary Giles and her husband Fred of Orangeville. Beloved grandmother to Stewart, Andrew and his wife Paula, Mark, and David and his wife Kim. Much loved great grandmother of Tyler, Mitchell, Cooper and Jessica. Survived by her sister Amy Trenwith, and predeceased by her brothers Archie, George and Walter Stevenson, and sisters Marguerite Hazlett, Isabel Landry and Laura Hanna. Peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in his 74th year. Laszlo will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbours.
