Frances “Fran” Hughes
Born in Alderwood on October 8, 1926. Fran retired from Campbells Soup after 41 years and was a Charter Member of the Trafalgar Golf & Country Club. After a lengthy illness Fran passed away on December 17, 2002. Survived by her sister Therese & predeceased by her brother Jack (Sonny) & sister Marian (Chick). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews & friends everywhere. Her special companion “Cheekie” has found a new home with Wendy Sawyer. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 1 to 2 pm for a Celebration of Fran’s Life. Interment to follow at Springcreek Cemetery.

Peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 in his 101st year, beloved husband of the late Katarina. Predeceased by his son Edward. Sadly missed by his godchildren Rita Mayer, her husband Peter and their daughter Amanda of Mississauga and Patricia Ploetner and family of Houston, Texas. Also sadly missed by his relatives and friends in Czechoslovakia. John loved his house, gardening, going for walks and remained self sufficient well into his late 90s. Sadly on Monday, December 30, 2002 in his 42nd year, passed away peacefully in his sleep. Donato is predeceased by his mother and father Filomena and Pasquale Lepore. Loving brother of Paul and his wife Julia, Nick and his wife Maria, Anthony, Josie and her husband Glen Rounding and his twin sister Carmela and her husband Pat Larocca.
