Win passed away peacefully in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Edwin. She is survived by her four loving children Ross, Diane, Marion and Janice, her daughter-in-law Gaye, son-in-law Jeff, and six grandchildren Stephanie, Ryan, Jeffery, Sean, Jarrod, Scott and her extended family. They will all miss her grace, sense of humour and great strength. Friends may call on Monday, May 5, from 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at 2:30 pm. Interment York Cemetery. KOSTER, Helen Mary (nee Chapitis)-Passed on in her 95th year on May 3, 2003, with family by her side. Helen was a feisty, witty, fun-loving creative woman who lived her life with great passion and love. Grandma will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren and her eighteen great-grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her loving husband Albert, her daughter June Marie and her son Michael. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Friends may call at the R.S. WOITALLA, Josef C.-Peacefully at home on May 5, 2003 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Erika. Also survived by his son Peter Muellejans and his wife Colene. Grandfather of Derek, Mark and Michael. Great grandfather of Erik and Tyler. He will be missed by his brother Bruno and many nieces and nephews from Germany. MORTON, Margaret B.(nee: Magani)
October 5, 1930 - July 8, 2003-After a courageous effort in her 6 year fight against cancer, Margaret slipped from us at her ever-loved home on Tuesday, July 8th, 2003. She was accepting of her fate and the trust in her faith was never in question. Margaret was grateful for the comfort brought by all those who offored their prayers. She was very thankful for the professional care, allowing her to remain at home. Margaret, in her 73rd year of life, is survived by by devoted loving husband Jim, daughter Joanne and her husband Philip Taylor, sons John Morton, Greg Morton, Blair Morton and his wife Jutta and Alexandra, Margaret's ever adored grandchild. Her surviving sisters, Mary and her late husband Rocky Colangelo, Ellen and her late husband Louis Di Rocco, Elisa and her husband Victor Cammisa, were in her thoughts to the end. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many of whom she so greatly appreciated seeing this past year. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Frank and Emma Magani and her only brother Joseph Magani. Family and friends are welcome for visitation at the R.S. GLASHAN, Arthur Allan-passed away peacefully in his 93rd year on Friday, July 11, 2003. Arthur was a pioneer in English Catholic Education in the Province of Quebec, accumulating 50 years in the field. He began his teaching career at St. Anne's Elementary School in Montreal and ended it as a professor at Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. Arthur was an accomplished athlete who played and coached football, baseball and hockey. He was the beloved husband of the late Veronica (nee Doyle) and loving father of Barbara Sheridan, Patrick and his wife Patricia, and Elizabeth Bouchard and her husband Ray. He will be missed by his grandchildren Patrick and Paul (Barbara), David, Andrew, and Elizabeth (Patrick), Sean, Katie, Daniel, and Mary (Elizabeth) and by his two great-grandchildren Shane and Aiden (Barbara), and by his many nephews, nieces and friends. Dear brother of George and predeceased by Keith, Robert, Allan and Mildred. Friends may call at the R.S. Devoted mother of Elizabeth (Ian Hill), Robert (Elizabeth Ng), Edith (Douglas Harrington), Margaret and Kenneth (Martina Yu). PAVLIN, Peter-Died peacefully, with his family by his side, on the afternoon of Sunday, July 13, 2003, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Stefanie. Loving father of the late Gregory, Peter Jr. and his wife Belina, and his daughter Teresa. Proud Papa of his grandchildren Steven and David. He leaves his sister Anica and many relatives and friends in Slovenia. He was a veteran of the Slovenian Civil War (Domobranci), and was an Ontario Land Surveryor for 41 years. Among his many contributions to the community, he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and a Knight of Malta. Laura Madeline Weaver WEAVER, Laura Madeline (nee Hoad) - passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in her 82nd year, after a 2 year battle with colon cancer. Laura leaves to mourn her loss but remember her love and guidance, her three children Wayne, Elaine and Marilyn, her daughter-in-law Pam, son-in-law Darshan, and her dear granddaughters Amanda and Karen Weaver. Her dearly beloved husband Alfred William Weaver and her eight siblings predeceased her. Laura grew up in German Mills and her lifetime hobby was researching local history.
