Mary Gladys Davidson-Kretovics
Suddenly at home on her 87th birthday, on December 1, 2003. Mary, beloved wife to Ralph Davidson (1969). Loving mother to Wendy and her husband Gardner Walker and predeceased by her son Wayne Davidson. Cherished Nana to Carissa and great Nana to Owen. Survived by her loving brother Reg and his wife Joan Carr. Mary will be missed dearly by her niece Susan and nephews Randy and Michael and their families. Friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 5, 2003 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Evelyn Louise Watts
(nee Stockford)-Peacefully at home on Friday, December 5, 2003, beloved wife of the late Thomas. Loving mother of Wayne and his wife Lynn. Dear grandmother of Christopher. Predeceased by her brother Charles, brother Elmer and sister Marion. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 11 am. Interment York Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Ontario.

Edward Patrick Fifield
'Ed'
passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the Sunnybrook Health Care Centre, in his 68th year. Ed, beloved husband to Marie Fifield (nee Rothman) for over 40 years. Loving father to his beautiful daughter Susan Fifield. Survived by his sister Margaret Flynn and predeceased by his brothers Alfred 'Bud' and John 'Jack'. Friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 650 Sheppard Ave. E., on Monday, December 8, 2003 at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Robert Louis Taylor
Tragically on Saturday, December 6, 2003, passed away in only his 24th year. Rob, will be lovingly remembered by his parents John and Linda and his brother Dave. Rob was a fun-loving, outgoing young man who will be dearly missed by his Grandmother Minnie Williams, his Grandfather Louis Taylor, his Uncle Bob, Aunt Bev and Cousin Tracy, along with his many friends. Family and Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 1 pm. Donations to a charity of your choice, in Rob's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family. Cremation. Alan Greenlees
Surrounded by love, peace and comfort, on December 9, 2003, the Master of Mayhem joined (The Legendary) Johnny and (The Ever Stoic) Joanie. The world will be a much more monotonous place without him. Alan awed us his entire life as we all held our breath and lived vicariously through his many exploits. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Debbie and Kerry, his nephew Jason and many friends.. We would like to extend a grateful thank you for guidance and support to Anne, Flo, James and all the staff and family at the White Light Hospice. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral as those were his wishes. You can remember Alan by making donations to the White Light Hospice, 416-925-9866.

Hazel Marian Allen
passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at North York General Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert Allen. Mother of Thomas and his wife Colleen, and grandmother to Jeffrey. Will be remembered by Frankie and Chuck Grant and other family members. Friends may call at the R.S. Vernon Godfrey Gruenig
Peacefully at home with his family at his side on Wednesday, December 10, 2003. Vernon, loving husband of the late Eleanor. Beloved father of Darrin and his wife Laurie, and Stephanie. Dear grandfather of Harrison. He will be always remembered by his other family and friends. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 - 9 pm at the R.S. Catherine Plumley
On Friday, December 12, 2003 at age 72, at the Southlake Regional Health Centre. Beloved mother of Louise, Susan (Kevin) McCabe and Stephen (Kelly). Loving grandma to Kyle, Shannon and James. Cathy will also be loving remembered by her sisters and brothers Pearl (Gordon) Barber, Henry (Mary) Walker, Norma (Ted) Hann, Ann Walker and Alex (Marketta) Walker, and her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 11 am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.

Anthanasios Dontsos
(Tom)-Suddenly, taken away from us, in his 50th year, on December 10, 2003. Tom is survived by his loving wife Magdaline and two devoted sons, Anthony and Timothy. He is also survived by mother Sofia, father Timothy, sister Tina, and brother Nick, who mourn their loss from Florina, Greece. The family will receive visitors at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Saturday from 5-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 15th at 9 am, followed by Interment at York Cemetery (101 Senlac Rd.).
Tom will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Beatrice Pearl Petrie
Aged 96 years. passed away peacefully in White Rock, B.C., on December 11, 2003. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Robert (Loverne) and Russell (Sandra); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and may other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William Petrie in 1968. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, Toronto). Interment to follow at a later date in the Thornhill Cemetery.

James Tomev
Surrounded by family James passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on December 11th, 2003 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Beloved husband of Olga for 51 years. Loving father to George and his wife Vicky and daughter Melinda and her husband Jack. James will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brandon, Vanessa, Nicholas and Cassandra. James was born in Zhelevo, Greece on October 26, 1926. He came to Toronto with great anticipation for a new life. James prospered in Toronto initially with his immediate family: father Chris, mother Jordana, brothers Bill and Tom and his uncle Foto Tomev. In 1950 he opened the Pep Coffee Shop on Broadview and Gerrard. In 1952 he married Olga Kolas and together with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Norm and Sophie Vasileff he opened the Atlas Grille. With this partnership the Atlas Grille flourished for many years in the Queen Street area. He will be deeply missed by family and all who loved him. James will continue to live in our hearts. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Sunday, December 14th between 2 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15th at 1 pm followed by Interment at York Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society / Leukemia Research Fund of Canada.

Randolph Steven Poore
On Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Sunnybrook Hospital, in his 65th year. Loving husband to Julie for 37 years. Beloved father of Sean and Xanthe. Sadly missed by his sister Carolyn Livy. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 1 pm at St. Luke's Anglican Church Price s Corners (Hwy. 12, West of Orillia). A reception to follow in the Church Hall. Donations to Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre and Bird Studies Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Uldarica Magdadaro Martin
Died at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Toronto on Sunday, December 14, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Conrado L. Martin. Loving mother of Edgar and his wife Alfonsa, Merle and the late Francisco, Zenaida and her husband Raymond, Ferdinand and his wife Shirley and Martin. Loved grandmother and great-grandmother of 21 grandchildren. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, south of Steeles, at Goulding), on Tuesday, December 16 between 2 to 9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 17 at 11 am. Interment Westminster Cemetery.

Tamotsu Tom Uyesugi
UYESUHI, Tamotsu 'Tom'-Suddenly at Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at the age of 81. Loving father of Ken and his wife Ann. Proud grandfather of Stefanie and Kristi. He will be sadly missed by his many relatives and friends. Friends may call on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service to be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.

Edna May Parrington
PARRINGTON, Edna May (Wheeler)-Peacefully, at North York Seniors' Health Centre, on Tuesday, February 4, 2003, in her 99th year. Devoted wife of Clifford A. Parrington. Beloved mother of the late Marilyn R. Hawtin and the late Donna B. Price . Dear mother-in-law of H. Barry Hawtin, Donald K. Price . Dearest grandmother of Donalyn (Hugh), Robert (Catherine), Wayne (April), Marilyn (Lee) and Donald (Alba). Great-grandmother of Evan, Marley, Emiley, Corey, Taylor, Spencer and Rachel. Special thanks to the nursing staff at North York Senior's Health Centre. A private family Interment will take place in Stayner Union Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the North York Seniors' Health Foundaiton (2 Buchan Court, North York, Ontario M5M 3E1), would be appreciated by the family.

KERR, L. Jean (nee Ramm)-It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family announce the passing of Jean at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Monday, March 24th, 2003. Beloved mother of Jennifer and her husband Neal Larsen and Wendy and her husband David King. Cherished grandmother of Connor, Nathaniel, Olivia and Zachary. Jean is predeceased by her husband Bruce Kerr. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends. Friends may call at the R.S. A service to celebrate the life of Jean will be held on Sunday, April 6th, 2003 at 3 pm in the chapel.
