COLLINSON, Nellie Ruth (nee Ebbesen)
On November 30, 2003 Nellie Collinson of Edmonton passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 65 years. Nellie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Ted of 44 years, children: Douglas (Dilys) Collinson, Robert Collinson of Edmonton, Susan (Tom) Collinson-Vesely of Westlock. Nellie (Nana) will be fondly remembered for her love, by her grandchildren: Ross, Ryan, Ian, Laura, Jason and Curtis; sisters: Betty (Peter) Wasylak of Brighton, ON, Dorothy Bishop of Drumheller, brothers: Neil Ebbesen of Red Deer, Ron (Jytte) Ebbesen of Airdrie, David (Gaylene) Ebbesen of St. Albert and by her many nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her parents Genevieve and George Ebbesen and by her sister Peggy Syryda. In keeping with Nellie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. There will be a celebration of her life with family and friends at a later date. Cremation has already taken place. For those who wish, a memorial donation may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.

KELLOCK, Joanne
November 22, 2003, Mrs. Joanne Kellock passed away after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 71. Joanne is survived by her children: Susan Kellock, Grigg (Philippa) Kellock, Jane (Kip) Hladky; six grandchildren: Amy, Jacob, Kateline, Cple, Emma and Julia as well as many dear friends and relatives. BRADE, Alfreda
On Sunday, March 28, 2004 Alfreda Brade of Barrhead passed away at the age of 92 years. Alfreda is lovingly remembered by her children, Wanda (Ed), Ewald (Violet), Irma, Eric (Audrey) and Annemarie (Bob), 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relative and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Julius, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 brother. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 2:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, Barrhead, AB with Reverend Art McCaughan officiating.Interment followed in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations made to: St. John's Lutheran Memorial Fund, Box 4425, Barrhead, AB, T7N 1A3.

CROWELL, Dorothy (Barr)
On March 26, 2004, Mrs. Dorothy Crowell died at the age of 78 following a brief battle with cancer. She is pre- deceased by her husband of 57 years, Nelson Crowell; and survived by two sons and one daughter, James (Vicki) of Fort Smith, NT, Murray (Odette Parent) and Holly Crowell (Michael Hipkiss) of Edmonton. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, David (Janice) Crowell of Saskatoon, Allison (Henry) Sinclair of Fort Smith, NT, Sarah Hipkiss of Vancouver and Shannon Hipkiss of Edmonton. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Bretton Crowell of Saskatoon, Key-Lee Crowell and Duncan Sinclair of Fort Smith, NT. The family wishes to thank Dr. Donoff and staff at the Royal Alexandra Family Clinic and Hospital, and acknowledge with gratitude the care and companionship of her sister Margaret Lewis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's United Church, 11526-76 Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the charity of one's choice.

DUBOIS, George Maurice
George Dubois, beloved husband of Gloria for 44 years, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 29, 2004 at the age of 75 years. George, born in Pontiex, Saskatchewan on May 11, 1928, and living in St. Albert will be sadly missed by his wife Gloria; his children Rosanne (Doug Dofher), Celine (Brent Dubrule), Germaine (Jack Zendran), Claude (Bonnie), Laurent, and Janine (John Garley); his grandchildren Danielle, Chantelle, Tyler, Kathleen, Francis, Sherry, Dexter, Jacquelyn and Jessica. He is also remembered by the rest of his very large family, not the least of which are his three sisters: Jean Blom, Laura Graham and Agnes Tolle. A memorial service will be held at St. Albert Catholic Parish on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 10:00 am, 7 St. Vital Ave, St. Albert. MORGAN, Lorna Elaine
On March 20, 2004, Mrs. Lorna Morgan of Edmonton went to be with the Lord at the age of 44 years. Survived by her loving husband Morgan; three children: Tanashia Smith, Kemeshia Smith, Albert Smith, and numerous friends and relatives in Canada, USA and Jamaica. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Serentiy Funeral Service, 5311 - 91 St., with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in St. Catherines, Jamaica. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to New Hope Christian Assembly "Church Building Fund", #201, 8711A - 50 St, Edmonton, T6B 1E7.

OSWALD, Julius Theodore
It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Julius Oswald (formerly of Leduc, AB) at the Grey Nuns Hospital on March 28, 2004 age 96. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: daughters: Marie (Jim) Deeley, Janice Miller, Gladys (Bob) Wilson of Calgary, son Ken of Sherwood Park; 11 grandchildren: Sandi, Jackie, Greg, Larry, Linda, Glen, Rodney, Chantelle, Shawn, Scott and Paul; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Darlie Oswald and Edna Sappok; David Miller, numerous nephews, nieces and dear friends. He was predeceased by his wife Alma, a daughter in infancy, his son Gordon and Gordon's wife, Barbara, his parents, Jakob and Sophie Oswald, nine brothers and six sisters. Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital as well the nursing staff and caregivers at Millwoods Shepherds Care Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 10014-81 Ave., Edmonton. Reverend Markus Wilhelm officiating with Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or charity of one's choice.

TKACHUK, Irene
On March 28, 2004, Irene went to eternal rest with her Lord and Savior. She was cherished by her sister Anna, daughter Lynn, son Ron (Shirley) and a special niece Sharon and her family. She will be sadly missed by her precious grandchildren Joshua, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Madeleine. "A dear mother and gentle lady who took care of all of us." Prayer Service Tuesday March 30, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church, 9930-167 St., Edmonton, AB. Funeral Rite will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church with Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church Memorial Fund.

LAWRENCE, Alexander "Alex"
July 30, 1926 - May 29, 2004
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Alex Lawrence of Ardrossan. He is survived by his loving wife Geri and their children Barrie (Mary Lee), Julien (Roger), Norman (Wendy), George (Janet), Lynda (Dan), Robert (Ron) and Ev as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great grand-children. Alex was predeceased by his first wife, Nell in 1976. A memorial gathering will be held at the Ardrossan Seniors Centre on Monday, June 7th, 2004 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. RIVARD, Helen Marie (nee Goudreau)
On Tuesday, June 1, 2004 Helen Rivard of Beaumont, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years old. She is survived by her three loving sons: Armand (Luci) of Beaumont, AB, Roger (Nanci) of Victoria, B.C. and Bert (Linda) of Edmonton, AB; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Clarence in 1964, her eldest son Henri in 1984 and her daughter Irene (Renee) in 2001. Helen will be sadly missed by all her family members and numerous friends. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 8:30 p.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church in Beaumont, AB. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church in Beaumont, AB. Interment in St. Vital Cemetery. BREITKREUZ, Otto
On July 31, 2004, Otto Breitkreuz of Edmonton, went to be with the Lord at the age of 82, after a short illness. Otto is survived by Martha, his wife of 58 years, son Ed (Elaine), daughter Marlene (John), daughter Shirley, son Bruce, son Alan (Monica); eight grand-children, three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. Otto was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and one sister. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Millwoods Pentecostal Assembly, 2225-66 St., with Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations may be made to Millwoods Pentecostal-Missions.

DANYLUK, Vera
1922 - 2004
On August 4, 2004, Mrs. Vera Danyluk, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 82 years. Vera is lovingly remembered by John, her husband of 60 years; her children, Luba (Art), Harry (Mary), Jerry (Inge), John, Terry (Lori), Victor (Penny); ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Elia's Ukrainian Orthodox Parish, 11833 - 66 Street. Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the same, with Rt. Reverend Fr. G. Turzansky officiating. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. McMILLAN, Donald Lewis
On August 2, 2004, Mr. Donald McMillan passed away at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife Virginia; his sons: Donald (Mali), Bruce, Douglas (Darlene), Robert (Susan); grandchildren: Douglas and Lyall, Dale and Alicia; brothers: Mack (Anne), Harold (Delores); sister: Patricia; stepson: Marvin (Catherine) Zeh; step-daughters: Marlene (Jon) Walker, Sherry (Ron) Bolton; step-grandchildren: Natalie, Lalani, Tamara, Saras; step-great-grandchildren: Samual, Riley; sister-in-law: Marion Kozoway, brother-in-law: Leonard (Joyce) Kowalchuk and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Don's request a private memorial service has taken place with Reverend Doctor Mina Pool. The family wishes to thank the staff at Capital Home Care & Bayshore Health Care.

TRAUTMAN, Shirley W. (nee Baker)
June 3, 1949 - August 2, 2004
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley on August 2, 2004 at the age of 55 years. Shirley leaves to mourn her loss her children: Tammy, Shawna, Shane, Jevon, Jamie and their spouses; her grandchildren; her brother Don (Bonnie) Baker; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. WORSLEY, Marjorie Edith
June 14, 1911 - August 5, 2004
On August 5, 2004, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 93 years. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by two daughters, Denise (Grant) and Rae-Anne (Jim); six grandchildren, Kirsten, Colin, Jelina, Amber, Chantelle and Forest; two great-grandchildren, Lilith and Octavia; and her nieces and nephews. A celebration of Marjorie's life will be held in Southern Alberta at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

ADAMS, Rilla
On Thanksgiving Day, October 11, 2004, Rilla Mary Adams journeyed peacefully to meet her Lord. Rilla was born in Scobey, Montana 1923 and attended school in Black Diamond/Turner Valley. Rilla (nee Turcotte) married Herb Adams in 1941. They raised five children: Laura (Neil) Meadows, Mac (Lorna) Adams, Ron (Karen) Adams, Penny (Greg) Plosz and Lisa Haberstock (Rick). Rilla has 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration of Rilla's love of family, friends and music will be held at Westlawn Courts (Phase 1), 9908- 165 Street, Edmonton on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Her family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Allen Ausford and nurses Karla and dy of Meadowlark Clinic. Also, Rilla appreciated the kindness and humor of lab and nursing staff at the Misericordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Regina District Assoc. of Community Living, 2216 Smith St. Regina, Saskatchewan S4P 2P5, or a charity of your choice.

DROZDA, Marjorie Joan
October 3, 1921 - October 9, 2004
Our dear mother and grandmother died peacefully at her home, the Good Samaritan Southgate Facility in Edmonton, Alberta with her family at her side. The family wishes to thank Dr. Grewal and the staff who made her feel loved and at home, and allowed her to express her loving gentle spirit. Marjorie was born in London, England and it was during her service in the Royal Air Force (England) that she met her husband Mike Drozda. She then left her home as a war bride to join him in Canada to build their life together. They eventually settled in Regina Saskatchewan. Following Mike's death Marjorie lived in Thunder Bay and Leduc. Marjorie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Milloy (Tom, deceased), Susan Goldsack (Dennis), four grandchildren Michael (Meghan) Milloy, Patrick Milloy, Rebecca (Allan) Hudgins, Julie Loppacher, and her great-grandson Jack Thomas Milloy, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Mike Drozda in 1981, her parents in England, and her son-in-law, Thomas Milloy. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Leduc. Interment will be in Regina Saskatchewan at a later date.
