December 15, 1920 - October 26, 2007 On October 26, 2007 Olga Grams of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her loving husband Philip of 67 years. Olga is also survived by her two daughters: Margery (John) Dykes of High River, AB and Joan (Graham) Campbell of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Scott, Kerri-Lynn, Geoffery and Jackie; four great-grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends. Olga was predeceased by her parents Wilhelm and Emilie, twin brother Fred, and brothers Eddie and Ralph Knakoske. Olga is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10014-81 Avenue. Pastor Markus Wilhelm officiating. Interment will take place at 2:30 P.M. in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 52356 RR 232, Sherwood Park, AB. GOUDREAU, Aline (Gobeil)

On October 26, 2007 Aline Goudreau (Gobeil) passed away at the age of 88 years. Aline was born October 13, 1919 in Beaumont, Alberta. She was a much loved mother to eight children; Raymonde (Ed) Boyachuk of Beaumont, AB; Victor (Marge) of Whitecourt, AB; Gloria (Maurice) Francoeur of Camrose, AB; Henri (Betty) of Ohaton, AB; Tom Goudreau of High Level, AB; Gene (Bonnie) of Beaumont, AB; Louise (Alex) Lubchynski of Kelowna, B.C.; Guy (Kelly) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends. Aline was predeceased by her husband Louis on January 12, 1983. Prayer Service Monday, October 29, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. at St. Vital Catholic Church 4905-50 Street Beaumont, AB. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vital Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Innaiah Bellamkonda officiating. RUTHERFORD, Kenneth Livingstone

The family of Ken Rutherford are saddened by his death on October 24, 2007, four days before his 92nd birthday. He was loved dearly by his daughters Gayle Simonson and Colleen Archer, son-in-law Andy Archer, four granddaughters and their partners - Liz Archer and Paul Chiasson, Heather Archer and Bill Storey, Karen Simonson and David Cheoros, Trish and Jason Chatterley and two great-granddaughters, Bridget and Alison Chiasson. He will also be missed by his sister Pat Campbell of Winnipeg, extended family members and many friends. Ken was predeceased by his wife Olga, son-in-law Laurie Simonson and sisters Betty Phillips and Rita Abrams. A Winnipegger by birth, Ken served in the RCAF during WW II, then worked at TCA-Air Canada until his retirement. At age 80, he left Winnipeg for Edmonton where his easygoing manner and warm smile soon endeared him to many new friends. Thanks to the staff of Unit 5G2 of the U of A Hospital for their kindness during the past few months. A Memorial Service will be held at Southminster-Steinhauer United Church, 10740 - 19 Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 29. Memorial donations may be made to the Bissell Centre or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
CHAPMAN, Charles (Dick)

April 3, 1906 - October 24, 2007 On October 24, 2007, Dick Chapman experienced his transformation from this earthly life to Eternal Life at the age of 101 years. Dick will be fondly remembered by his daughter Myrna (Ed) Whiteside; their children: Gerald (Janet), and their children Debra (Trevor) Robinson, Dianna, David and Darren; Wayne (Debbie) and their children Christina and Michael; Donna (Marvin) Pohl and their children Kourtney and Coleton; also one brother Frank (Elfra) and sister-in-law Emily Chapman of Chilliwack, B.C. Dick was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 1991. Born in Melfort, SK, he spent most of his life working retail trade, mainly with McLeod's in various cities and in Portland, Oregon. In his retirement years he enjoyed golfing, lawn and carpet bowling and especially 5 pin bowling with the Seniors Leagues at Bonnie Doon Bowling Lanes. Many thanks to Dr. Hartman and the nursing staff on Station 51 at the Grey Nuns Hospital these past nine weeks for their compassionate care. There will be a private family Interment. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Millwoods Pentecostal Assembly, 2225 - 66 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission of Mercy or World Vision.
MONAGHAN, Douglas Terrence

November 28, 1924 - October 23, 2007 The family of Douglas Monaghan sadly wish to announce that after 82 years of serving family, country and community, Doug passed peacefully into the night. Doug is survived by Helen, his loving wife of 60 years, his son Bryan (Nancy), sister-in-law Mickey and his cherished and beloved granddaughters, Erin and Kelsey who provided him with unlimited love and happiness in his later years. Doug will be remembered for always giving, never taking. He served his country through war and served his community through peace, but above all else he served his family as provider, protector and role model from which we will continue to derive inspriation. Sincere thanks is offered to the dedicated and caring staff on 4th floor Norwood whose ongoing compassion and assistance will always be remembered. The family would also like to extend a special thank-you to Linda Cochrane who maintained the vigil with them. In keeping with Doug's expressed wishes, no formal service will be held. Family andfriends are asked to remember Doug as they knew him, in their own special way, at their own special time.
HENDRICKS, Mavis
On Wednesday, July 16, 2003 Mrs. Mavis Hendricks of Edmonton passed away at the age of 59. Mavis will be remembered and cherished by her husband Paul; five children, Wayne (Betty) Wolfe, Bonny (Christopher) Chapiel, P.J. (Debbie) Wolfe, Kim (Gary) Setter and Casey-Lee Hendricks; nine grandchildren, Jamie (Chance) Millward, Jeri Wolfe, Sheldon Setter, Kalin Chapiel, Lynsey Setter, Jenna Chapiel, Wil Chapiel, Curtis Wolfe and Travis Wolfe; one great-grandchild Austin Millward; one brother, one sister and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 11:15 a.m. at St. Andrews United Church, 9915-148 St., where the Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Peace Cemetery in Devon. In lieu of flowers please made a donation to Make A Wish Foundation. The family wishes to thank the nurses at the Misercordia Hospital 7 West for their loving care and attention to Mom during her stay.
KADATZ, Harvey Edward
Born June 11 1932 in New Sarepta, AB. passed away July 19, 2003 in Leduc AB surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his ever loving wife Norma, children Faye of England, Debra of Leduc, Richard of Wetaskiwin and Daryn of Leduc. One Brother Clarence (Sirkka) of Sherwood Park. Four sisters Evelyne of White Rock, Edna of New Sarepta Grace (Mike) Gawrywk of Red Deer and D'Verle (Cliff) Baird of Beaumont. Four grandchildren Jeremy (Andi), Michelle, Chelsea and Ryan, and by many other friends and relatives. Predeceased by mother Martha 1974, Father Sam 1981, brother Irwin 1989 and by two infants Ronald 1963 and Eugene 1956 and daughter-in-law Lorna in 2002. A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4606-48 St. in Leduc AB, on Wednesday July 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. In Lieu of Floral tributes donations may be made to Cross Cancer Institute c/o Alberta Cancer foundation 11560 University Ave Edmonton AB T6G 1Z2.
STOBBE (TEWS), Helen
Helen Stobbe (Tews) nee Thiessen was born in Hepburn, Saskatchewan on October 18, 1911. She passed away peacefully on July 11, 2003 at the Millwoods Shepherds Care Nursing Home, Edmonton at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her husband Severn Tews; five sons, Ken (Ila) of Calgary, Gordon (Norma) of Onoway, Ted (Helen) of Stony Plain, Glenn (Brenda) of Calgary and Darryl of Edmonton; one sister, Susie of Saskatoon, Sask.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ted Stobbe on November 14, 1987. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Onoway Baptist Church in Onoway, AB on July 21, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Earnst Baumgartner officiating, with Interment to follow in Onoway Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be made to Millwoods Shepherd's Care or the charity of one's choice.

On July 16, 2003 Mrs. Olga Ulbrich of Edmonton went to be with the Lord at the age of 95 years. Survived by her loving daughters Gertrud (Willi) Cyrankiewicz, Irma (Arthur) Redschlag; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Community Church, 9802-76 Ave., Pastor Bruno Doberstein officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
