Leaving to mourn Doug, Judy Furlong (Mike), son Patrick (Denice). Grandchildren Mark, Bud, Brandon and Denice. Sisters Sharron and Kevin Lyver, Marie and Larry Lyver and Judy Vanta. Brothers James (Terri), Pat in Humbolt, Sask. (Shelly) and Gerry in Edmonton. Special friends Gerry Smith, Tom Whitten, Walter Furlong, Jean Noftall and Marg Porter. Also nurses and friends at Dialysis (Waterford Hospital) and other relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation hours, Monday 2-10 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at St. Teresa`s Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Margaret G. Dunne
DUNNE, Margaret G. - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home on February 1, 2004 Margaret G. Dunne. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Gertrude Dunne, brother John (Isabelle) and sister Loretta Myrick (Ernie). Leaving to mourn brother Richard (Minnie), sister Carmel Brown (Forbes), 17 devoted nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
No visitation, cremation has taken place.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday from St. Patrick`s Mercy Home Chapel at 11 a.m.

Ellen Mary Gentry
GENTRY, Ellen Mary - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare`s Hospital on February 1, 2004, Ellen Mary Gentry aged 78 years. Predeceased by her husband James, mother Mary Agnes Bush, father Fredrick Bush, three brothers Francis (Lil), Leo (Theresa), and Fred (Theresa). Leaving to mourn her children John (Judy), Lorraine Lambert, Jim, Sis Crawford (Kevin), Carol Gabovic (Grant), Sharon Legge and Geraldine Gorman (Jim). Two brothers Ed (Olive), Gerald (Beatrice), sister Carmilita (Mike), special cousin Agnes Walsh. Also many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home. Visitation Monday 7-10 p.m. Tuesday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at the Basilica at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Mount Carmel Cemetery.

GREELEY, Garry Allen - passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, February 03, 2004, Garry Allen Greeley, age 55 years. Left with fond and loving memories, his wife Marie (nee Squires); daughters: Nicole, Laura (Matthew), Karen (Michael); brother Wallace (Karalynne); sisters; Dianne (David) and Marilyn (Gary). Also lovingly remembered by Mom Squires, the Squires Family, the Blundon Family, other relatives and friends.

GRIFFITHS, Diane Marie (nee Heffernan) - age 59, passed peacefully away on Feb. 16, 2004 in Ottawa, Ontario after a brief battle with brain cancer. Beloved wife of Bob. Dear Mother of Ron, Jim, Ken (& Clara), Andy (& Mary), and Nancy (& Darren Churchill). Loving Grandmother of, Robbie, Bradley, Blair, Christopher, Zachary, Samara, Kaitlin, and Erin. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Michael (Loraine), Marty, and sister Loraine (Kevin Edney), brothers-in-law Gerald (Emma), Ray (Marion), sisters-in-law, Sadie, Anne (Don), Marietta (Mark), also, a large circle of relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Margaret Heffernan and Grandson, Jack Aaron Churchill. For those who wish, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.

Leaving to mourn her brother Raymond, Ontario; sister-in-law Winnie Hall; niece and nephews Roxie Hall and Family, Robert Hall and family and David Hall and daughter; Aunt Mary Bennett; cousins Francis Bennett and wife and family; Joan Crouse; and Richard Bennett and family, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Hynes, Joseph James (JJ) - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 in this 85th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and true love of 65 years Dorothy (Doucette). Loving father of Terry (Halifax), Tommy (Genny Schump) of Brampton, ON., Frances (Edward Wiseman) of Kingston, ON., Carolyn (Terry Peddle) of the Goulds, Lon (Patricia Salmon) of Toronto, ON., Maureen of St. John's, Vicki (Derrick Norman) of St. John's, Debbie (Brian Scott) of Mount Pearl, Christopher of St. John's, and Sean (Joanne Davis) of Halifax. Predeceased by children, Robert, Bobby and Paul. Also leaving to mourn his devoted sister and life long friend, Angela White of Port-au-Port, sisters-in-law Jenny Doucette and Tony Doucette. Will be lovingly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Thursday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 11 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Cremation to follow with private inurnment for family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Kids of Caner Travel Fund or to a charity of one's choice.

HYNES, Mary Dallas - passed away Feb. 8, 2004 at St. Clare`s Hospital. Mary Dallas Hynes (nee Browne) aged 84. Predeceased by her husband John D. (Doug) June 1998 and son-in-law William Kavanagh June 2002. Leaving to mourn eight daughters, Mary Johnson (Henry) R.I., U.S.A., Eleanor Davidson (Don) Nanaimo, B.C., Thelma, Alamenia (Kathy) Thorne (Keith), Germaine Rose (Lloyd), Elizabeth, Madonna (Paul), Bernice Kavanagh with whom she resided. Six sons, Capt. Douglas (Elizabeth), Clarence (Linda), Randall (Donna), Joseph, Billy, Phonse. One brother Clarence Browne, Long Harbour. Thirty-seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

KIELLY, Carmel C. - aged 69, formerly of O'Derin Placentia Bay, passed peacefully away at the Ottawa General Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 16th, 2004. Leaving to mourn brothers Arthur in Toronto, Donald (Maureen), Mount Pearl; and Sister Madonna Smith (Kipston), Eaganville, and sister-in-law Carmel M. Kielly, St. John's. Carmel will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends, especially her niece Davina Misner (Al), Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass on Friday, February 27th, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
