Donna Marie Reid
REID, Donna Marie (nee Mooney) - passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 19, 2004, in her 44th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Robert; three sons Bradley (Marilyn Rumsey), Craig and Scott. Predeceased by her father John Mooney. Also leaving to mourn her loving mother Sadie Mooney of Kilbride; five brothers: Larry (Ruth), Leonard (Betty), Jack (Cathy), Gerard (Karen) and Rick (Lisa); four sisters: Joan Snow (Bob), Flo Kelly (Bill), Bernice Turner (Bob Dallin), Pauline Neville (John); brother-in-law John Reid, sister-in-law Carol Murphy (Dan Coombs), as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 23rd, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.

William Francis Robson
ROBSON, William Francis - passed away at his residence in the presence of family and friends, on Wednesday February 18th, 2004. William F. Robson, in his 67th year. Predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Robson, nephews: Kenneth Robson and Peter Parrell. Left with loving memories, his best friend and wife of 42 years, Barbara (nee Winsor), brother Cyril (wife Peg), sister Elizabeth (Betty) and husband Terry Parrell; nephews Cyril and Justin Robson and Michael Parrell and Aunt Rita Parrott; longtime friends, Cyril Fitzpatrick, Frank Fitzpatrick and Gerard Walsh. Also other relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 21st, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.

Dawn Mary Rodden
RODDEN, Dawn Mary - Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at her home after a short illness, Dawn Mary Rodden in her 53rd year. Predeceased by her father William and mother Violet (Harris). Leaving to mourn three brothers, William (Jeanette), Robert (Zona) and Harry; eight nieces and nephews: Benjamin, Jacob, Bill, Todd, Chris, Pam, Mark and Heather; aunts and uncle, and special friends, Jamie, Niki and Sam and life long friend Thomasine Power.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass on Friday, February 13th, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Vera Perlin Society.

Patrick Shaw
Shaw, Donald Patrick - August 1, 1961 - February 28, 2004
It is with great regret that the Shaw and Lawlor families announce the tragic loss of a dear - son - brother - husband - Father and uncle. Florence Lorraine Smith
SMITH, Florence Lorraine (nee Price ) - passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 05, 2004, Florence Lorraine Smith, age 63 years. Predeceased by her parents Florence and Gerald Price , brothers Dennis, Don; sister Joan. Also Predeceased by her husband, David, March 1996. Leaving to mourn her children: Eddy (Karen), Craig (Karen), Kerry Harvey (Kevin), Scott (Pauline), Danny (Robin), Dennis (Sue), and grandson Keith who resided with her; sisters: Helen, Geraldine, Patsy Pelley (Joe), brother David (Bonnie); sisters-in-law Debbie Pinto (Gary); Judy Murray (Bud), Sherry Ryan (Tony); brothers-in-law Azzie Smith (Gabe), Randy Smith (Carol); 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and special friend Phyllis Barfoot, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Amanda Sutton
SUTTON, Amanda - On February 3, 2004, Amanda Sutton in her 23rd year - a dear daughter and sister walked into the arms of the angels and grandfather Harry Sutton. Leaving to mourn her Mom, Winnie; sister: Tiffany; Grandmother: Edith; Uncle: Jim (Roxanne); Aunt: Cecilia (Steve) and cousins: Jake, Justin, Jordan, Jami, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends; one special friend Dawn.

TAPPER, John Thomas - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, February 9, 2004, John Thomas Tapper, age 75 years of Torbay. Leaving to mourn his wife Catherine of 46 years; three sons: Eugene (Sheila), Tony, Eddie (Lisa); one daughter Jacqueline; two precious grand-daughters Andrea and Kellie; sister Agnes (Patrick) Hickey of Outer Cove; sisters-in-law Ethel and Kathleen Tapper, Mary Hammond and Barb Yeo; brother-in-law James Yeo. Predeceased by parents George and Frances Tapper; sister Maria Hedegard of Iowa, USA; brothers Frank (Sadie), James, Michael; nephews Earl and Robert. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Kirit and Veno Patel and staff of the Health Sciences Complex.

TAYLOR, Allan - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 25th, 2004, Allan Taylor, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Catherine Taylor, his brother Jim and his sister Margaret. Leaving to mourn four sisters, Rita Power, St. John's; Alice Norman, St. John's; Gertrude (Gurley) Greene, Toronto; Sister Mary Taylor, St. Patrick's Convent, St. John's; sister-in-law Florence Taylor, St. John's; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family greatly acknowledges the care given to Allan during his time at the Waterford Dialysis Unit and the Health Sciences Dialysis Unit & 4SA.

VATERS, Frank - Passed peacefully away on Monday, February 16, 2004 at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion. Frank Vaters of Pouch Cove, WWII Navy Veteran, age 83 years. Predeceased by wife Margaret, 1996. Leaving to mourn his daughters Valda Gosse (Dan), Sharon Harris (friend Ray), Rosalind Hatcher (Roy) and son Jimmy (friend Debbie); six grandchildren: Dan Gosse, Arlene Melindy (Fred), Jason Gosse, Tracey Snow (Dione), Garrett and Deanna Vaters; two precious great-granddaughters Kalene and Kendra Snow; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank-you to caregivers Mary Woodfine, Lillian Reid, Catherine Mahon, Suzzette Chafe, and Debbie Reid; also Dr. Adams and VON Nurse Anne Pardy.

WALSH, Flora (Mandeville) (nee Lee) - Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of family and friends, age 90. Predeceased by her husbands, Tom Mandeville, 1965 and Sylvester Walsh, 2000, her parents Albert and Ann Lee, her sister Mildred and brother Cyril. Leaving to mourn her sister, Theresa Holland; foster daughter Genevieve Gibbons, special god-children Flora Gibbons and Flora Lee. Also a large circle of loved nieces, nephews, and other relatives as well as many dear friends and neighbors. A special thank you to caregivers Loretta, Theresa, Ann and Peg. Thanks also to Dr. Kennedy and the emergency staff at the Health Sciences Centre.
