Left with fond and loving memories, her husband James P.; sons: Gerald and Noel (Jackie); 2 loving grandchildren Morgan and Casey; brother Wilf (Betty) and sister-in-law Ruby Casey, as well as many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and special family and friends from Conche.
Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 16th, 2004, at 9:45 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

WALSH, Margaret (nee Stack) - Passed peacefully away at her residence on Monday, February 23, 2004, age 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, son Leonard, brother Tom, step-brother William and step-sister Nora. Leaving to mourn her sad loss; seven daughters: Mary Heffernan (Doug), Patsy Doyle (Ron), Barbara (friend Randy), Janie Doyle (Gerry), Kay Dinn (Billy), Peggy (Jim), Donna Ofukany, Peace River, Alberta; four sons: Jimmy (Barb), Leo (Bev), Billy (Marilyn), Pat at home; 27 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one precious sister Catherine and brother-in-law Ned Hearn; one special sister-in-law Carolyn Stack, Strathray, Ontario; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 26th, 2004, at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Petty Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Petty Harbour.

WARFORD, Isabel (nee Druggett) - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Predeceased by her son Paul. Left with fond and loving memories, her husband George; three daughters: Rhoda (Kevin), Pamela (Eric) and Jocelyn (John); three sons: Billy, Harold (Julie), and John (Jill); four granddaughters; four grandsons; two great-grandsons; 2 sisters: Beatrice and Adelaide; special friends Anita and Jim Pender, as well as a large circle of family and friends.

WHALEN, Gary (Garrett) - passed away at his residence in the presence of loving family members on February 17, 2004, Gary Francis Whalen, age 47. Predeceased by his father Patrick Webber; grandparents, Catherine and William Whalen, Genevieve and William Winsor. Leaving to mourn his sad loss, his mother, Ethel Webber, four brothers: Ron Whalen and Liz, Greg Webber and Sandra, Tony Webber and Pam, Walter Pine and Rosalind; four sisters: Theresa and Charlie Williams, Maureen and Valmore Stoyles, Patricia and Tom Watt, Geraldine and John Borschowa; uncles Ed Winsor and Annabell Bearns, and Kevin Winsor; special friend and careworker Loretta Pittman and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

WHITE, Bernadette Mary (nee Ring) - passed away Sunday, February 15, 2004, Bernadette Mary White (nee Ring) of St. John`s, aged 85. Predeceased in 1993 by her husband Stephen (Ted), brother Vincent and sister Kathleen. Leaving to mourn two sons Bernard (Rosalind), Dominic (Joan), daughter Mary Laite (Wayne) and one sister Mary Groves in Ontario; eight grandchildren Trina and Stephen White, Gordon, Janine, Colleen Laite, Chris, Holly and Kathie White; two great-grandchildren Shirvauna and Dyvonte. Also a number of relatives and friends.

Predeceased by husband Samuel, son ; Samuel and Son-in-law ; William Power. Leaving to mourn 5 daughters and 1 Son ; Blanche Dray ( William ), Stella Ryan ( Dermott ), Clara Duffy, Samuel ( Patricia ), Hannah Power, Gladys Whyte ; 16 grandchildren and 7 great - grandchildren. BULGER, Sister Mary Evangelista, RSM - Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent on January 7, 2004, Sister Mary Evangelista Bulger, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary (Sutton) Bulger, her brothers Joseph, Aiden and Vincent. Leaving to mourn her Congregation the Sisters of Mercy; her brother Ron (Mae) and sister Theresa Halleran, many close and devoted nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Resting at St. Bride`s Convent, 220 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John`s on Wednesday, January 7, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 8, 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 9, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery.

CADIGAN, Nora Frances (nee Kinsella) - Passed peacefully away at her residence in Logy Bay on Friday, January 9, 2004, in the presence of her loving family, Nora Francis Cadigan (nee Kinsella), aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband James Francis (1995), grandson Kenneth Cadigan, sister Anne Power, and brothers Daniel and John Kinsella. Leaving to mourn her daughters Mary Roche (Leonard), Patricia Winterson (Paul), Nora Myers (Thomas), Lorraine Cple (Leo); sons David (Lorraine), Gerald (Diana), Ronald (Barbara). Also 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral mass at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment following at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove.

CANTWELL, William S. - It is with deepest sorrow we announce the peaceful passing at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, January 08, 2004, of our dearest husband, father and grandfather, William S. Cantwell, formerly of Cape Spear, age 74; retired employee of C.N. Dockyard and longtime volunteer with the Sisters of Mercy. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Williams and brothers-in-law Samuel Williams, Gordon Ivany, Larry Norman and granddaughter Sara Styles. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 50 years Mary (Barrett); children: Deborah Macleod (Carl); Eleanor Cantwell (Lisa), William Cantwell (Laurie), Catherine Styles (Raymond) and grandchildren: Matthew and Evan MacLeod, Weston Cantwell, Joshua Styles. Also his sister Joan Ivany and sisters-in-law Dorothy Norman and Betty Yetman, and his faithful companion Biscuit, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
