MURPHY, Bridget Mary (Dunne) Passed peacefully away at her son s residence on July 1st, 2004. Bride Murphy (Dunne) of Kilbride. Predeceased by her husband Michael J. Murphy on March 4th, 1979, and her parents Margaret and William Dunne; brothers: Harry and Gerald and sister Margaret Hamlyn. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories, her only son Allan Murphy, daughter-in-law Sharon (Kerrivan); two special grandchildren, Chad and Allanah; sisters: Eileen Dooley, Marie Butler, Theresa Murphy, Sheila Walsh (Kevin), Helen Dunne; and a large circle of special nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Father Ken Walsh for his home visits and prayers and to Dr. Catherine Mann for her special care and for going above and beyond the call of duty. Bridget (Bride) is predeceased by her husband Jim; daughter Loretta and son-in-law Bill Murray; and grandson Mel Joseph Mahon. Leaving to mourn her son Patrick; daughter Donna and husband Michael Skipton; grandchildren: James Mahon (Fernie, BC) and Deborah Mahon (Toronto, ON), Stephen and Jennifer Murray and Leighan and Jacqueline Neville; and great-granddaughter Brittany. Born in Portugal Cove South in 1916 and has been a resident of St. John's since the 1930's. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Ellen O'Leary, brother: Cyril, sister: Irene Dowden, brother-in-law: Brendan Perry and nephew: Donald Perry. Leaving to mourn her sister: Helen Perry, Corner Brook; brother: Brendan (Marie), Portugal Cove South; Nieces and nephews and their families: Wayne, Bill, David and Ken Perry, Brenda Alteen, Sharon Power, Craig, Rick, Bernadine and Leanne O'Leary, Cathy Skinner and Robert Dowden.
