Left to mourn son Michael (Angie); grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew; sister Eileen; brother-in-law Jack Bishop; many nieces and nephews; the staff and residents of Dinn’s Rest Home, Witless Bay, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. HAYDEN, Melinda – Died peacefully at the Miller Centre on May 29th, 2004, at the age of 92. Melinda Hayden of Rushoon, formerly of Petite Forte. Predeceased by husband Osbourne Hayden; parents Anne Maria and Joseph Cheeseman; sisters Bridget and Anne (John Hann); brother Frederick (Hannah Butle), Charles (Adele Doody) and John (Elizabeth Stewart) and granddaughter Anne Marie Hayden. Left with loving memories are her children Anne Marie (with whom she lived for the pats 8 years), Blanche Dyer, Eric (Peggy Moores), James, Joseph (Rosalind Hoskins), Barbara (late Charles Anthony), Nora (Donald Hankins), Mary (Ches Bilka), David and Edmund (Mary Norman); sister Laura (late Alphonsus Miller); brothers Daniel, Joseph (Mary Frances Dicks) and Eric (Irene Greene); brother-in-law Allan Hayden; thirteen grandchildren: Paul (Francis Leonard), Rnady, Renee (David Pace) and Kelly Dyer; Edward and John Hayden; Jen and Jon Anthony; Mark, Scott, and Sarah Hankins; Alan Bilka and Daniel Hayden; five great-grandchildren, David, Desiree and Thomas Leonard; Emma Hayden and Abby Pace, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. GRENNING, John V. (Jack) - It is with great sadness that the family of John (Jack) Grenning announce his passing away at home after a courageous struggle with cancer on Thursday, May 20th, at the age of 72 years. John was a Korean War Veteran and a lifetime member and past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1. Predeceased by his parents Isabelle and Jim Grenning; brothers: Greg and Jimmy; sister Mary; and two grandchildren: Brian and Mary-Kate Fleming. He will be forever missed and cherished by his loving wife and best friend of 52 years, Kathleen; his children: Margie (Brian Hanley), Yvonne (Brian Fleming), Greg (Ann Marie Sears), Maureen (Paul Kidney), Catherine (Noel Kelly), John (Marie Thomas), Donna (Derrick Lee), Barry (Donna Hancock), Isabelle (Terry Quinlan), Lisa (Rod Burton) and his nineteen grandchildren whom he dearly loved: Karla, Greg, Brian and Clair Hanley, Jill Fleming, Ryan Glenn, Paul, Barry, Heather and Catherine Kidney, Jonathan and Rebecca Grenning, Derrick and Andrew Lee, Benjamin and Noah Grenning, Holly and Jack Reese and Kathleen Burton.
