Degree of Newfoundland and Labrador. Predeceased by sons-in-law: Tom Lawlor (1995) and John Cullimore (1999); three brothers and three sisters. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his beloved and devoted wife and partner of 62 years, Eleanor (Loveridge); their five children: Mary Dowell, Independence Missouri, (her children Sandy, Lynne, and Ian and their father Carl Dowell); Barbara Lawlor (Joseph McIsaac), St. John's (her sons: Paul, Michael and David); Douglas Jr. (Christine Pilbrim), C.B.S.
