POWER, Audrey Joan – Passed peacefully away at her residence, Audrey Joan Power of St. John’s, age 59 years. Predeceased by her son Arthur Power (Scrap), 1996. Leaving to mourn her husband Charles, three daughters: Audrey (Cook), Kim and Karen; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Arthur King and wife Donna and special friend Ros White. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Sunday from 12 noon – 10 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 19, at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

REARDON, (Hart), Brenda – passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m. aged 53 years. Predeceased by father Edmund (1983). Leaving to mourn her loving husband, Paul; children: Jennifer (Rod), Paul Jr. (wife Margo); grandchildren; Meleiah, Victoria and Ryan. Also leaving to mourn mother Mary Hart (Quilty); sisters: Patricia (Charles) and Barbara, both of Ontario; Margaret Wade (Jim) of Mount Pearl, Doris Hart of St. John’s and Gail (Cyril) of CBS; brothers: Cyril (Jeanne) of St. John’s, Edmund Jr. of Lamanche, Stephen (Ruth) and Paul (Sylvia), both of Ontario and Russell (Barb) of Paradise. Will be sadly missed by special friends Trudy and Fred Summers, godchild Jessica Hart and also Precious, and a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. SATURLEY, John Patrick- passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at his home. John Patrick Saturley, age 54 years. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Agnes (nee Ricketts). Leaving to mourn his sister Mary (Paul Derick); brother Donald (Roseanne Hammond); nephews James, Michael, and Sean Derick, and Peter Saturley; niece Rebecca Saturley (Keith Bourne and grand-niece Sally); aunts Margaret Wade, Josephine Boyette and Angela Saturley, and uncle William Aylward. Also a circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Rd. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. – 12 noon . Funeral Service on Thursday, October 14th, from Caul's Chapel at 1:30 p.m., with cremation to follow. Donations may be made in John's memory to Epilepsy Newfoundland and Labrador.

Miller Centre, on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, Mrs. Isabel (Bell) Stamp, beloved wife of the late Jack Stamp (Truckman). Leaving to mourn in sorrow over their loss; daughter Judy of Toronto and husband Malcolm Smeaton, grandchildren Samuel, Jacqueline and William; son John of New Brunswick; daughter Bernice (Bill Hickman); son Bobby (Denise Avery); daughter Cathy and husband Bob Kean. Also leaving to mourn brothers and sisters, Don (Eleanor predeceased); Lorraine predeceased; Michael (Marion predeceased); Raymond (Cherie); Patsy; Ronald (Tina) of Toronto; also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends and special friends Tommy and Margie Stamp. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 40 years, William Roy Thistle, St. John’s; daughter Michelle Thistle, St. Petersburg, Florida, sons: Geoffrey, Mississauga, Ontario; William (Wendy), Sylvan Lake, Alberta; grandchildren: Shawna, Elijah, Jaden and Zoie; sister Mary Cayson (Hampton) Trenton, Ill., USA; brothers: Adrian (Stella), St. Philip’s, William (Winnie), Goulds; Brendan (Peg), Goulds; Francis (Rita), St. John’s; Edward (Bernice), Badger; sister-in-law Maureen St. Croix, Scarborough, Ontario; brothers-in-law Nat (Veronica) Thistle, Ern Thistle, St. John’s; sister-in-law Doris (Doug) Scott, Mount Pearl; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Elizabeth; seven daughters: Betty, Maureen (Bernard) McGuire, Florence (Colin) Shipley, London, Ontario; Catherine (Jim) King, London, Ontario; Agnes (John) Mason, Ottawa, Ontario; Judy (Ray) French, Brantford, Ontario and Cindy; four sons: Ed (Jocelyn), Bill (Mary), Sonny (Megan), and Ron (Karen). Beloved grandfather to twenty-four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; also leaving to mourn one brother Rev. Fr. Edward A. Leaving to mourn his sons: Randy (Patsy), William (Judy), Harvey (Lorraine); brother Hubert (Eileen); sisters: Grace (Len) and Della (Sam deceased); seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Edmund Joseph Dalton
DALTON, Edmund Joseph – passed away suddenly at his residence on September 4, 2004, Edmund Joseph Dalton, aged 61 years. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Bessie Dalton. Leaving to mourn are his three children, Catherine Elizabeth (Ron), Kelly Ann (Chris), and Walter Patrick (Tina), and their mother Geraldine; his two special grandchildren: Olivia Catherine and Camron Joseph (and their father Cecil Warren; his four siblings: Eleanor, Brendan (Joan), Zita (Roy) and Martin; his niece Susan and nephews, John, Michael and Sean. Also a large and unending circle of friends, classmates (Holy Cross), and business acquaintances. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.. and 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Words cannot express how this loss has affected us and those who knew him. Donations may be made in his memory to the Janeway Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cerebral Palsy Association or a charity of ones choice. He lived a full life and will be deeply missed. Retired employee of Marine Atlantic. Leaving to mourn his companion and friend, Anne Lawlor and family, two sons Gary (Alaien) of Carbonear and Tony (Gail); two sisters Hannah Redwood (Joe) of Halifax and Melita Chubbs; two brothers Jack (Jesse) and Al (Julie) both of Belleoram; also leaving to mourn his special Aunt Nellie Bambury of Pool’s Cove; two grandsons Dione and Devan Dominix of Alberta; special cousins Selina (John Gauti) of St. John’s, Heather (Rob Gould) of St. John’s an Steven (Tanya) of St. Jacques, as well as many friends, relatives and co-workers, especially Agnes, Judy and Mercedes, Eliza’s Homecare workers at his home in Paradise. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, September 6th, 2004, at 2 p.m. from Caul’s Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation to follow. John Fifield
FIFIELD, John – Passed peacefully away at the Waterford Hospital on September 13, 2004 , John Fifield, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his brother Matthew, 1997, and sister Margaret Hoskins, 2004. Leaving to mourn his sad loss are his sister Marie Hoskins and his brother Charles Fifield, as well as many nieces and nephews. A very special heartfelt thank-you to the staff of North 3A, Waterford Hospital , for taking such excellent care of Johnny.
