Predeceased by his son Michael, 1989; brothers Doug, Ern, Jack; sisters: Josephine, Bride, Nell, Kitty; and first wife Isabel Mackey. Left with fond and loving memories, his wife Hazel (nee Kelly); children: Mary Flight (Terry), Patricia Flight (Randy), Catherine O’Rielly, Leonard O’Rielly (Michele), John O’Rielly (Kim), Patrick O’Rielly (Rose), Iva Brewer (Tony) and Colleen O’Rielly; grandchildren: Jillian, Amanda, Holly, Kristy, Daniel, Matthew, Sam and Caroline; brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Sally), Hazen and Fr. Leonard Kelly; sisters-in-law Lucille Harty (Ray) and Marie Fallon; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Predeceased by his father Ron Patrick Redmond in 1992. Left with found and loving memories is his very special Mother Mary Redmond; Wife Diane (nee Ryan); Sons Ronald and Eric; Step-son Robert; also leaving to mourn many special Aunts, Uncles, Relatives and Friends. Peter Paul Ryan
RYAN, Peter Paul – Formerly of Little Paradise, Placentia Bay - with sadness in our hearts, but with thanks for his presence in our lives, we announce Peter’s Journey to eternal rest in his 80th year. Following a courageous battle with cancer he left this world in the arms of his loving wife, Beth. Predeceased by his loving first wife Elizabeth Ryan (Payne), daughter Sheila-Marie, grandson Ryan Harvey, brother Anthony, sister-in-law Gladys Ryan and parents John and Elizabeth Ryan. Left with cherished memories are his wife Beth (Boulos nee Berrigan), children: Deborah (Don Sheridan) NZ, Robert (Cecily), Paul (Laurie), Winnipeg, Pierre (Kate Williams), Karen Harvey, Sean, Michelle (Blair Stacey), Ottawa; grandchildren: Maggie, Kendra, Haley, Nicola and Alexander Ryan, Kristen Harvey, Sheilagh and Anthony Stacey; sisters Dorothy (Bernard Hickey), Mary (May) Ward, Kay (Jim Houlihan), Blanche (Joe Dray); brothers Greg and Martin (Cecilia); step-children: Danica and Celeste Mercer, Nadine and Daniel Boulos-Jarvis, Michael Boulos, Megan and Haley Caines, Kayla and Anna Osbourne, Dean and Dale (Darlene) Miller. Also his extended family, the members of the Tran, Huynh and Trinh families (Ontario and Alberta); sisters-in-law Rose (Robert Stacey), Ethnea (Charles Guiney), Justine (Doug Chaytor), Josephine Hiscock, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Peter was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and an active member of St. Pius X Parish. He served as a postmaster of Little Paradise, worked 42 years with the Canadian National Communication (CNT/TNT), he was a former school trustee with the Placentia School Board and an advocate for social justice. ANDERSEN, Flemming - Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Center on February 15, 2005 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, Flemming Andersen, aged 60 years. Predeceased by his parents Kai and Ellen-Anna Andersen. Leaving to mourn are his two sons: Steven and Jason (Maricel); one daughter, Jennifer (Jim); his best friend Diana and two grandchildren: Steven Jr. and Brianna. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Frank in 2003 and her daughter-in-law Judy in 2004 and her sister Ruth, 1998. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her only son Frank, two daughters Marcella (David) and Doris (Frank) all of St. John’s; one brother Charles of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren: Gail, Glenn (Maggie), Darren (Marie), Shane, Joy (Charlie), Jason (Cheryl) and Paul (Krista); four great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters-in-law Marcella Whelan (her best buddy) and Mary Furey; two brothers-in-law, Ed Bruce and Leslie Bruce (Pat) all of St. John’s and several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends and special friend Pam.
