Kenneth Cheverie
Suddenly at his late residence in New Zealand on Saturday, November 15, 2003 of Kenneth Cheverie aged 59 years.
Loving brother of Frances Cheverie of Fortune. Special Uncle to Christina (Jim) Tonks of Souris and Arlene (Shane) French of Fortune and numerous other nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are Sisters-in-law Eileen Cheverie and Mary Cheverie. Predeceased by Sisters and Brothers Margaret Barker, John James 'Jay', Reggie, Ernie, Nettie Sheehan, Dougie and infant brothers George Vincent and Peter Kenneth.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. till time of funeral. Funeral to be held Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from St Alexis Church Rollo Bay with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Internment in the Church Cemetery.

Louis Augistine Cheverie
The death occurred at the Q. E. II (Victoria General site) on Monday, January 10, 2005 of Louis Augustine Cheverie of Dartmouth aged 75 years. Born in Souris, PEI he was the son of the late Daniel and Charlotte (Fougere) Cheverie.
Louis had a long career in the trucking industry and operated his own trucking business for a time. He lived in Guelph/Kitchener, Ontario for 27 years where he was employed with Kearney National and later Linamar Industries from where he retired in 1990. He returned to Dartmouth in 2000. He was an avid baseball and hockey fan, he also enjoyed music.
Louis was a terrific crib player and loved his regular crib games and will be missed by the card players at the Finlay Seniors Centre and club 24, and home games with family and friends.
'Grampy' had a special relationship with all his grandchildren and played an active role in their busy lives until the end.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife Ellen Jane (nee Bushey), Children Tina (Glen Andrews) Cambridge, Ont.; Mary (Oswald Pathomey) Kitchener, Ont.; Beverley Shreenan, Dartmouth, N.S.; Darlene (Danny Shirley) Elora, Ont.; Louis Jr. Sarnia, Ont.; Brenda (Tim MacLaughlin) Mooretown, Ont.; Margaret (Rob Campbell) Guelph, Ont.; Sheila, Kitchener, Ont., David, Guelph, Ont., Karen, Kitchener,Ont., Daughter-in-law Mary Cheverie, Guelph, Ont. Sisters Barbara (Gerald MacDonald), Doreen (Alex Langille) both of Dartmouth, Eleanor (Basil Burke), Dottie (Carl Burke) both of Fortune Bridge, PEI, Cecilia (David Morash) Glen Haven, Brothers Danny (Beatrice), Dartmouth, Edward (Charlene) Timberlea, Brother-in-law Peter Bushey, Guelph, Ont. Funeral to be held Saturday morning from St Mary's Church Souris with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 am Internment at a later date in the church Cemetery.
