At his home in Peters Road on Monday, April 14, 2003, of Merrill Graham Butler age 77 years. Beloved Husband of Lucy (Nee Acorn). Dear Father of Barry (Sandra) - Peters Road, Marie (Gordon) Gallant - Gays Road, Merilyn Crossman (Wayne Hayter) - Montague, Amelia (Garry) Campbell, Otis (Linda), and Bonnie, all of Peters Road. Loving Grandfather of 22 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Brother of Jean Whitney - Boston, Ella Young - Lower Montague, Bill - Charlottetown, Harry - Souris, Lydia Crawford - Ontario, Shirley MacSwain - Peters Road, and Helen MacSwain - Fredericton, N.B. Predeceased by his Granddaughter Patricia Crossman, Son-In-Law Vincent Crossman, Brothers Lloyd and Clair and Sisters Mertle Peters and Ethel MacSwain.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Peters Road Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. If so desired, memorials to the Peters Road Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.

Linda J. Coughlin
At Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley on Sunday, April 13, 2003 of Linda J. Coughlin of Murphy's Lodge, Tyne Valley, aged 75.
Wife of the late Lloyd Coughlin. Daughter of the late George and Lillian (Rowell) McRae. Dear mother of Eileen (Shelton) Hardy, Murray Road; Shelia (Ken) Williams, Summerside; Eleanor Coughlin, Summerside; Douglas (Jackie), Edmonton, Alta.; Jacqueline Coughlin, Moncton, N.B.. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sister in law of Russell (Wanda) Coughlin, Summerside; Glenn Paynter, Summerside; Ada Coughlin, Lot 16; Earl (Dolly) Coughlin, Ellerslie. Predeceased by daughter Faye Patrick, brothers Fred and Thomas McRae.
Resting at Ferguson's Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Tuesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral on Wednesday at St. John's Anglican Church, Ellerslie at 10:30 a.m.. Interment in the church Cemetery. Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Keith W. Dennis
At Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, March 27, 2003 of Keith W. Dennis of Summerside, formerly of Port Hill, aged 82, beloved husband of Jennie (nee Rogers) Dennis. Son of the late William J. and Ada (nee Gorrill) Dennis.
Dear father of Blair and his wife Kelly, Port Hill. Loving grandfather of Cody, Chelsea and Candice. Brother of Wanda Hope, Winnipeg, Man.; Celie Dennis, Murphy s Lodge Tyne Valley; Erwin (Olive) Dennis, Ellerslie; Reagh (Rosemarie), Halifax, N.S.; Arnett (Marlee), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA; Claire (Julie), Ont.; Edgar (Janet), Port Hill. Predeceased by his first wife Hazel (Jewell) Dennis.
Resting at Ferguson s Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Saturday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Sunday in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.. Interment later in the church Cemetery. Alexandra Lodge No. 5, Port Hill will hold a service for their late brother at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

James W. DesRoche
At Community Hospital, O'Leary on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 of James W. DesRoche of Forest View, aged 69 years.
Beloved husband of Leta (nee Collicutt) DesRoche. Son of the late Edmund and Mary (nee Jones) DesRoche. Dear father of Leroy (Mary Lou), Greenwood, N.S.; Juantia (Rickey) Gallant, Forest View; Margaret Anne (Wallace) Smallman, Forest View; Elva (Fred) Young, Kensington; James (Audrey), Alberton; George, Gordon, Allen (Jennifer), Joanie all of Forest View. Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Keith.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm and until Saturday 10:00 a.m., then to St. Anthony's Church, Bloomfield for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment later in the parish Cemetery.

John William Dewis
Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 09, 2003, of John William Dewis of Montague, age 91 years. Husband of the late Enid (Coffin) Dewis. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Those who wish to visit with the family, may do so on Thursday April 10, 2003, from 7 - 9 pm at the Roseneath Bed and Breakfast in Roseneath. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hillcrest United Church or to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home.

John C. "Jack" Ellis
At the Long Term Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary on Monday, April 7, 2003 of John C. "Jack" Ellis, Veteran of Second World War of West Point in his 90th year, beloved husband of Edna (nee Stewart). Son of the late George and Edith (MacDougall) Ellis. Dear father of Malcolm (Lorna), West Point; Timothy (Mary), Glenwood; Effa (Elbert) Morrison, Linkletter; Andrew, Edmonton, Alta.; Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Verna Stewart (Les MacLeod), Charlottetown. Predeceased by son Roger and daughter Annie in infancy, brothers and sisters Harry, Neil, Guy, George, Borden, Edna, Eleanor, Annie.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with private family visiting on Tuesday 2-4pm only. No funeral service by personal request. Grave side service to take place in the spring in the Springfield West United Baptist Cemetery.

Leslie Heber Hardy
At Community Hospital, O'Leary on Friday, April 11, 2003 of Leslie Heber Hardy of Phillips Residence, Alberton formerly of Elmsdale aged 89, husband of the late Dorothy (nee Forsythe).
Son of the late Irving and Matilda (Hutt) Hardy.
Dear father of Eric (Sandra), Brampton, Ont; Erma (Robert) Grandmaison, Trenton, Ont; Lois (Wayne) Skiba, Moosomin, Sask; Paul (Susan), Cascumpec; Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother in law of Dorothy Hardy, Rosebank; Mary Lockerby, Cascumpec. Predeceased by a brother Eldred Hardy.

Robert Steven Kromko
Suddenly, at the Souris Hospital on Thursday, April 3, 2003, of Robert Steven Kromko of Kilmuir, and formerly of Liverpool, N.S. age 35 years.
Beloved husband of Denise (nee MacDonald). Loving Father of Tamara Kromko and Samantha and Crystal Kennedy. Dear son of Karen Kromko (nee Grezaud) and the late Ronald Kromko, and brother of Ronda Kromko, Lana Grezaud and Roger Kromko. Also survived by 1 niece and 6 nephews.
