Dear wife of Frank and a wonderful mother to Shane (Pam) and Tracey (Irwin) Watts. Devoted grandmother of Frankie Jean, Tanner and Makenzie McGuigan, and Riley Watts. Sister of Kay McIntyre and Harold Harper, daughter-in-law of Lillie McGuigan and special aunt of Debbie Frizzell. Also survived by her bother-in-law Paul (Arlene) McGugan, sister-in-law Ruth (Jim) Lambert and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Tertius and Mary Harper and brothers, Kenneth McIntyre, Elmer and Jim Buchanan.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Monday from Cornwall United Church at 2PM. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, January 27, 2003 of Diane M. Murphy (nee Gorveatt) of Charlottetown, Age75 years.
Beloved wife of Ray. Dear mother of Bernetta (Paul Gallant), Ray and Frankie. Loving grandmother of Kerry (Maureen), Ray, Daryl, Darin, Shawn, Chris, Erin, Lori, Ryan and Aaron. Great-grandmother of Chelsey, Emily, Katie, Hailey, Zoe, Finn, Samuel, Robert and Elizabeth. Sister of Arnold (Norma), Omer (Mary), Delta Murphy (Frank) and Hilda LaBrosse (Doug). Sister-in-law of Evelyn Gorveatt. Lovingly remembered by her special niece Dale Vigneault (Dave) and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Vera Gorveatt, by her sister Dorothy and by her brother Elmer.

R. Dorothy Shanahan
The funeral service for R. Dorothy Shanahan was held on Friday, February 1, 2002 from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel where the service was conducted by Rev. James Kelly. The organist was Helen MacRae. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne MacMillan, Wayne Larter, Dennis Dowling, Sterling MacPhail, Andrew Leslie and Allen Dowling. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Muriel Mary Smith

SMITH, Muriel Mary - The death occurred, peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2001 of Muriel Smith (nee Harding) aged 93.
Formerly of North Vancouver, British Columbia, she resided for the past year with her daughter and son-in-law in Mermaid, P.E.I. and at the Stamper Residence in Charlottetown.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deena and Andrew Robb; grand daughter Lindsay, of Halifax; her two sisters Winifred and Alberta (Bert), both of British Columbia; nephew Terry McGiveron (Joan); niece Lennie McGiveron (Herb) and nephew Tom McGiveron of Australia; nieces Sylvia Savage (Bob) of Victoria, B.C. and Pauline (Bob) Ferguson of Creston, B.C.; and nephew Jim Metzler (Cheryl) of Trail, B.C. and their families.
No visitation or funeral by personal request. Cremation and family memorial in British Columbia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home.

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 of Vernon Lloyd Smith of New Dominion. Age 90 years.
Brother of Violet Maund(Ivan). Brother-in-law of Eleanor Smith. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Annie (nee Bowen) Smith and by his brothers Lester, Harold, Winston and Charlie.

As the result of drowning on October 22, 2000 of Christopher Paul Steele of Charlottetown. Age 28 years.
Son of Deborah Rose (Daniel) of Charlottetown and Paul Steele (Lorraine) also of Charlottetown. Beloved father of Jessica Woodside. Brother of Dawn Simpson (Derrick), Kent (Lisa), Jennifer and Janet Kelly (Kenneth). Grandson of Betty Gilbert. Lovingly remembered by nine nieces and nephews and seven aunts and uncles.
