Violet Baglole
The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, September 28, 2003, of Violet Baglole, of Summerside, aged 92 years.
Born at Enmore, she was the daughter of the late Obidiah and Annie (Johnson) MacArthur.
Predeceased by her husband William Baglole, and by 15 brothers and sisters. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside until Tuesday, then to Victoria West United Church for funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Peoples Cemetery, Victoria West. No visiting hours by personal request.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Zeta MacDonald
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Prince County Hospital, on Sunday, September 28, 2003, of Zeta MacDonald, of 265 Lefurgey Avenue, Summerside, aged 85 years.
Daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lollie (Costain) Gallant.
Survived by her children Aubrey (Eloise), Summerside; Joan (Reg) Laughlin, Miscouche; Helen (Paul) Arsenault, Charlottetown; Dick (Marie), Charlottetown; Don (Nancy), North Bedeque; Grant (Faye), Wilmot Valley; and by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of George Gallant, Summerside; Evelyn Peters, Summerside; Theresa MacLean, Victoria, B.C.; Joe (Doris) Gallant, Summerside; Lynnie (Grant) Grady, Freetown; Leona (Norman) Perry, Sherbrooke; Mary (Bill) Acorn, Charlottetown and Connie Laughlin, Miscouche. Survived as well by sisters-in-law Yvonne MacDonald, Summerside; Lorena McCarville, Kensington; Jean Arsenault, Wheatley River; Eunice Devaney, Lindsay, Ontario; Helen Carson, Calgary; and brothers-in-law George Arsenault, Calgary; Wilfred Arsenault, Truro; Gerry Arsenault, Summerside; and David Arsenault, St. John. Predeceased by her husband Ralph MacDonald; a son Robert MacDonald; brothers Reginald, Lawrence, and Clifford Gallant; sisters Hilda Smith and Bertha Sullivan; sisters-in-law Austina MacDonald and Clare Brown and by brothers-in-law Ellery Arsenault and Edward Laughlin.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul s Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m.

Members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service at the funeral home Wednesday at 12:45 p.m.

Marion Barwise
At the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, November 19, 2003, of Marion Barwise, of Summerside, in her 95th year.
Born at Summerside, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret (Halliwell) Grady.
Survived by her children Claudia (Ron) Greenaway, Courtenay, B.C.; Bette (John) Hicks, Berwick, N.S.; Margaret (Charles) Bradshaw, Lower Freetown; Bill (Hella) Barwise, Sooke, B.C.; by 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; by many nieces and nephews; a sister Ruth Ward, Summerside; and by a sister-in-law Doris Grady, Summerside. Predeceased by her husband William Barwise; brothers Ralph, Austin, Bill and Fred Grady; and sisters Alice Best, Willena Coulson and Velda McKinney.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.. Interment in St. John s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Percy Waite
The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Friday, November 28, 2003, of Percy Waite, formerly of Sherbrooke, aged 88 years.
Born at Sherbrooke, he was the son of the late Walter and Eva (Evans) Waite.
Survived by brothers Ralph Waite, Andrews Lodge, Summerside; and Wilfred (Mary) Waite, Fredericton, N.B. and by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Marion Waite, Glen Batty and Ruth Clark.

Survived by his wife Virginia (Hall) Lecky; by sons Robert (Margaret), Florida; Steven (Sylvie), Montreal; Larry (Suzanne), North Bedeque; grandchildren Julia, Matthew, Emma, Graeme, Andrew and Kenneth; by sisters Catherine Hirtle, Summerside, and Frances Ann (Morris) Gates, Ontario; and by a sister-in-law Joan (Lecky) Brock, Ontario. Predeceased by a brother Alan Lecky.

Norman Hardy Johnstone
The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, December 7, 2003, of Norman Hardy Johnstone, formerly of Birchwood Heights, St. Eleanor s, aged 88 years.
Born at Long River, he was the son of the late John and Catherine(Hardy) Johnstone. Survived by a daughter Helen (Blair) West; by grandsons Rodney (Yannick) and Kent (Kim), all of Edmonton, Alberta; and by a nephew Allan (Rinda) Johnstone, Moncton, N.B. Predeceased by his first wife Nellie (Nicholson) Johnstone; his second wife Sara (Brown) Johnstone; a brother Andrew; sister Mary Johnstone; nephew Gerald Johnstone and by numerous step-brothers and a step-sister.

Survived by his children Marion Doncaster, Amherst, NS; Joyce (Eric) Ramsay, Moncton, NB; Waive (George) Madden, Riverview, NB; Valerie (Dean) Lowther, Summerside; Everett (Betty), Guelph, Ontario; Donald (Shirley), Waubchene, Ontario; Blair (Ella), Moncton, NB; Ernest, Ottawa, Ontario; and Barry (Lynn), Chaulk River, Ontario; by 26 Grandchildren and 34 Great-grandchildren; by brothers Hensley (Tisey), Summerside; John, Waverly, NS; sisters Eleanor Harris, Summerside; Miriam Jones, Ontario; and Ruth (Leigh) Warren, Ontario; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his wife Rita (Greenan) White; a son Scott (Johlene), Norboro; sisters Coleen White, Mississauga, Ontario; Noreen (Anthony) Hippenstall, Summerside; Sr. Lauretta White, C.S.M., Charlottetown; and Shirley (Wayne) Clarke, Ottawa, Ontario. Brother-in-law of Rita White, Dorval, Quebec; Gerald Greenan, Brae; Kay (Glenn) Rodgerson, Freetown; Edwin Greenan, Summerside; Harold (Anne) Greenan, Brae; Nancy O Malley, Summerside and Judy Greenan, Clinton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
