December 12, 1922, Manchester, England - March 24, 2001, Peterborough, Canada. Served in the R.A.F. 1942-1946, which included training in Canada. Emigrated to Canada following the war with his employer Crittle's which became Pilkington's Glass where he enjoyed a successful career to his retirement. Together with Peggy raised his family in Ajax before moving to the Peterborough area. Loved and missed by his wife Peggy, daughters Dianne, Janette, and Rosalind, sister Rosemary, and grandchildren Mark, Michelle, Bryan, Jason, Daniel, and David. (Retired employee of Dominion Stores Toronto) After a lengthy illness as a result of a car accident, on Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, in her 79th year. Survived by her sister Gertie (Mrs. S. Pellerin) and sister-in-law Earla McCord. Predeceased by her younger brother Ned McCord. Survived by her daughters Diana (Mrs Heiki Aus), Beverley (Mrs. Tom Milliken), and Sharon (Mrs. Elmer Winters), her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and special niece Elaine Rennie-Preston.
