Loved father of Debra-Lyn and her husband Leonard Hogel, Steven and Delaine and her husband Dean Foskett, and the late Michael Emerson Bak er. Loved grandfather of Dustin, Cassandra, Makayla, Amanda and Ashleigh. Dear brother of Marie, Ralph, Patricia and Murray. Lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren Paul, Stephanie, Stephen, Jessica, Patrick, Joseph and one step-grandchild Karin. Also survived by his brothers, Father Bede OMI of the Philippines, Doctor Patrick Clancy (London), and sisters Kathleen Wallace (London), Jean DeAngelis (Belmont), Rita Gillespie (Ottawa) and Berneida Halpin (London) and predeceased by one sister Margaret Kirshin. Leila (nee Freeland) was predeceased by her husband William, her son Bill and her daughter Arlene. She is the last of a long line of Freeland siblings. Leila is survived by her daughter-in-law Betty, her grandsons Paul (Linda), Anthony (Judy) and Scott (Sonia), and her great-grandchildren Jennifer, Ryan, Eric, Patrick and Connor. A private family service will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert.
