Suddenly at his home in Scarborough on Monday, June 4, 2001 in his 55th year. Beloved ther of Mark, Matt and his fianc Suzanne, and Darren. Loving brother of Bud and his wife Donna. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and business associates from Scarborough to North Bay. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral Prayers in the Chapel on Friday, June 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

FIELD, Kenneth (Ken)
At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Sunday, June 3, 2001, in his 57th year. Loving husband and friend to Andrea. Father and pal to sons Jackson and Spenser. Cousin and friend to many in his beloved England. Son of the late Jack and Dorothy Field of Halifax, West Yorkshire. A memorial celebration of Ken's life will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m. at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (Mill St. exit, just north of 401 at the lights 1-877-987-3964) with Rev. David Chisling, BA, BEd, MDiv, officiating. Loving mother of the late Heather Forbister, Shirley Gait (Robert), Kenneth (Irene), and Sandra (Jim). Loving Grandmother of 11 Grandchildren, and Great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers red and Ralph, and her sister Violet. At Evelyn s request cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah s Witnesses, Nash Rd. Courtice on Thursday, June 7th 2001 at 2:00 P.M. Interment, Montreal Memorial Park, Montreal Quebec. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and close friends. After a courageous battle, it is with deep sorrow that our family wishes to advise friends of the passing of our dear husband and father, on Saturday, June 2, 2001. (Royal Canadian Legion Br. #112) - passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday June 2, 2001 in his 74th year. Andrew, beloved husband of Juanita. Loving father of Susan Weeks and her husband Fred of New Brunswick, Donald McGregor of Whitby, Carol Demchuck and her husband Gary of Oshawa, Doug Reid and his wife Chantel of Oshawa, Gary Reid and his wife Christine of Ottawa, Janice Daigle of Whitby, Carol Hodgson, Debbie Reid and her husband Robert of Vancouver. Proud grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 2. Friends were received at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Sunday June 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A service was held in the Chapel on Monday June 4, at 11 am. Cremation followed. In memoriam donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Veterans Fund.

Entered into rest, on Friday, June 1, 2001, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson disease, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 83. Harold, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Bailey). Loving father of Patricia Holtby-Heayn and her husband Edward Heayn of Norwood, Robert Holtby and his wife Jean of Epsom, and Neil Holtby and his wife Heather of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Marion Thomson of Newmarket, and predeceased by brothers Jack and Murray. Remembered by sisters-in-law Tot and Helen. Relatives and friends will be received at the Wagg Funeral Home ''McDermott-Panabaker Chapel'', 216 Queen Street in Port Perry on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Harold Holtby will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 5th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Bursey officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Community Nursing Home Recreation Fund or to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada.
