Bill, beloved husband of Joanne Alexander. Loving father of Bill Jr. (Tammy), Robyn Belford (Tom), and Shannon, and grandfather of Tyler Belford. Fondly remembered by his father William Sr., by his brothers Robert, Doug, Jim, and his sister Valerie. Dear son-in-law of Joe Drumm, and brother-in-law of Sean Drumm. Family and friends will be received at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Friday. Service in the Chapel on Saturday November 3, 2001 at 11a.m. followed by cremation.

HOGARTH, Bruce Alexander
(Served as a W.W.II Veteran with the Midland Regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces; Served overseas as a Canadian Officer on Loan to the British Army. Bruce was involved in D Day plus 1 in Normandy and served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Bruce was the Clerk of the Village of Pickering, Deputy Clerk for Ontario county and retired as a Deputy clerk for the Region of Durham in 1985.) At the family residence Pickering on Tuesday October 30, 2001. Bruce Alexander Hogarth in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Edith Rackham. Loving father of Clare, Joanne and her husband Ron Doble, and Kathy and her husband Peter Kaiser. Proud Grandpa of Stuart, Jeffery, Cory, Chris, Stacy and Jordan. Brother of the late Stuart, Jean and Jessie. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Loved grandmother of Benjamin and Matthew of New Zealand, and Gillian and Christopher of Oshawa. Dear sister of Evelyn and her husband Leonard Cple, and Mable Gibbie. CONNELL, Thomas William “Torn Terrific”
At age of 71. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29th, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Whitby while in the arms of his loving wife June and his daughter Kimberley (Kimberlilly). Tom will be greatly missed by his son-in-law Brian. Grampy will always be in the hearts of his grandchildren Santana and Amber. Beloved brother of James Ronald and his wife Mary (of Whitby) and dear brother-in-law of Fred (Guy) Hayes and his wife Mary (of Texas). Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews will carry their own special memories of Uncle Tom. June and Kim wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Brian Reed and everyone at Lakeridge Health-Whitby for ensuring Tom’s comfort over the last six years. Grandmother of Tracy, Joanne, Debbie, Diane, Marilyn, Patricia, Karen, Gary, Kevin, David, and their families. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Then to Burns Presbyterian Church, Ashburn where visitation will commence from 1:00 p.m. Thursday until time of service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Burns Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ashburn.
