SCHNEIDER, Erika
Erika Schneider (nee Kaiser) passed away quietly in her sleep on Wednesday, December l9, 2001, at the age of 74. She will be remembered and loved by her two children, Jutta Schneider of Oshawa. Ontario and Lothar Schneider of London, Ontario. Also mourning her loss are her sister, Rosemarie Faust, her husband, Peter Faust and their children, Gudrun, Ute and Alexander, all of Bonn, Germany. Finally, the sister of Erika's beloved husband Walter, who passed away in February of 1999, Anne Marie Neuhaus, and her two children, Peter and Annegret, all of Ludenscheid, Germany. Erika was a loving wife, mother and an active founding member of Oshawa s German-Canadian Community. She will be missed by many. A private family service will held in the chapel at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME Ltd., 152 King St., Oshawa (9O5-433-5558) on Friday, December 21, 2001. Interment Thornton Cemetery. A prayer and a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated.

Peacefully at Extendicare on Tuesday, December 18th, 2001 after a short battle with cancer, four days after her 76th birthday. Beloved Companion of the late Henry Casey. Former wife of the late Lloyd Wager. Dear mother of Wayne Wager and his wife Valdaine, Dale Peternel and her husband Franko and the late Bryne Wager. (Accomplished Musician). Suddenly, on Tuesday, December 18, 2001, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 87. Robert Cawker of Scugog Island, beloved husband of Madeline (nee Walker). Loved father of Wendy and her husband Peter Koeyers of Whitby, and Ernie Cawker of Janetville. Loving grandfather of Jodi Ann Gerrow. Predeceased by his sister Grace Hastings and his brothers Gordon, Charles, Samuel, and James Cawker. Robert will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. MUSSELMAN, Clara
In loving memory of Clara Marie Musselman (nee Gural) passed away from natural causes in her sleep at Sunset Manor, in Collingwood, on December 18, 2001. Clara had just celebrated her 89th birthday. She is survived by her two sons Jim and Ken, her six grandchildren, Jay, Lisa, Daryl, Joey-Lynn, D'arcey and Lyndall, three great grandchildren, Dylan, Connor and Alexandria, daughters-in-law Betty and Lois, granddaughters-in-law, Jackie and Andrea and grandson-in-law, Steve. Clara lived in Kitchener and Whitby with her husband Alexander who predeceased her in 1961. As a widow she lived in Whitby, Faith Place in Oshawa and since 1998, in Collingwood. The Musselman family would like to thank the staff at Sunset Manor for their kindness and care for Clara. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A private family memorial service will be held to celebrate Clara's long and happy life.

SHAW, Robert John, (Jake)
passed away at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital on Dec. 16th, 2001. Jake was born in Oshawa in 1921. He was a WW2 veteran and served in the Canadian Merchant Marine from 1940 to 1945. He was a member of the Canadian Corps and the Legion. Jake will be greatly missed by his loving wife Pauline, his son Karl Shaw and wife Martha, of Anniston Alabama, his daughter Karen McIntyre and her husband Dennis and grandson Michael, and his son Michael Shaw and wife Irma, and granddaughters Laura and Caroline of Oshawa, and daughter-in-law Joanne Shaw. He is survived by his brother, Karl and wife Winona Shaw, and his four sisters Shirley Sciuk and her husband Richie, of Oshawa, Maxine Pindar and her husband Alex, of Nanaimo, B.C., and Thora MacDonald of Hamilton and Margaret Meek of Oshawa. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Carrie Shaw of Oshawa, and Agnes Shaw of St. Catherines. Jake is predeceased by brothers Roy, Eugene, and Bernie and sister Yvonne Berlinghoff. Respecting the wishes of Jake cremation has taken place. If desired expressions of sympathy to the Diabetic Association of Canada would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday December 16th, 2001. Annie, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Llewellyn, sister Alma (Rose), and three brothers, James, Bertram, and Lloyd (Sparkes). Lovingly remembered by her son Robin (and Ruth Parsons), Daughter Marilyn (and Don Lewis), two Grandsons Ewen and Jessie, and four Great Grandsons. Devoted sister Nina. Annie will be sadly missed by her numerous friends and relatives. A Memorial Service was held at Centennial Albert United Church in Oshawa with Rev. Bill Tedeja presiding.
