Peacefully at home in his sleep on Sunday, December 2, 2001. Al Hill, loving partner of Marlene. Loving and devoted father of Candice and Dave. Survived by Phyllis Hill of Newfoundland and Patti, Erika, Monica and Julie. Al will be deeply missed by his many family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday, December 7, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. Loving mother of Edward Litwin, and Christine and her husband Willie Anton. Loved grandmother of Colin Anton. Loretta will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Loving mother of Debbie & David Coolidge of Markdale, Donna and Walter Turudic of Cannington, Dale & Lana of Sunderland, Darrell & Laurie of Sunderland and Dalton & Angie of Woodville. Dearly remembered by 15 grandchildren, four brothers Grenville, Jim, Frank and Charlie and two sisters Mavis and Marion. Predeceased by three brothers Albert, Jack and Don. Loving father of Paul Solomon and his wife Bonnie of Port Perry, John Solomon and his wife Ava of Peterborough, and Karen and her husband Allan Faux of Pickering. Loved grandpa of Stephen Solomon and his wife Shelley, Trevor Solomon and Lori Winter, Laurel and her husband Tom Taylor, Chad Solomon, Amber Solomon, Ashley Faux, Andrew Faux and Renee Faux. Peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, October 25th, 2001. Loving daughter of Alfred Gunther and Marianne Gunther Moorse. Much loved sister of Robert Gunther and dear sister-in-law of Kathleen. Proud aunt of Neva Claire and favourite niece of Gertrud Moosmang. Special cousin of Monika and Barbara. Mourned by Brian Moorse and Barbara Gunther. Sadly missed by her many friends in the Yukon. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and to Reverend Michael Bishop.
