BOYES, Ronald (Ron), Msc, CGA
Born in Hamilton, December 19, 1946, died at home in Ajax, January 17, 2002. Beloved husband of Mandy (Marilyn) (nee Billiald), proud father of Aaron, Graham and Alison, all at home. Survived by his brother Dennis of Toronto and his sisters Lisa of East York and Jan of West Lafayette, India. Sadly missed by the Billiald in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Ron will be remembered for his passion for life and his inspiring courage and positive outlook, even in the face of death. The family would like to express their deep gratitude for the loving care given to Ron by the health professionals at Sunnybrook Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Rouge Valley Health Centres, Durham Hospice, Durham Respite, V.O.N.'s, St. Elizabeth and ParaMed and for the palliative care of Dr. John Vu. We sincerely appreciate the support of friends, neighbours and co-workers at the Ontario Ministry of Finance and the Ajax Public Library. Peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home in Oshawa on Thursday, January 17, 2002. Charles, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Masson). Loving father of Lynn Bernier and her husband Jack, Kelly O'Donnell and her husband Scott, Kim Cameron and her husband Terry, predeceased by his son Glen Roach. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Todd, William, Shaun, Krystal, Kyle, Ashley, and Curtis. Great-grandfather of Anna. Survived by his brother Gordon Roach and his wife Joan. Charles will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
