passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Tuesday January 15th, 2002 in his 82nd year. Dearly loved husband of the late Jean Aitkenhead. Much loved father of Catherine (Rena) find her husband Chris Arden of Wales and John (Jack) and his wife Susan Aitkenhead. Loved grandfather of Andrew, Richard, Claire, Lesley and Craig. Survived by his sister Janet (Jenny) Leneten and her family. Fondly remembered by his extended family Liz and Chris McGowan, Claire, Rob, and Emma Shaw and Angie and Sloan Mandel. With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Cynthia on Tuesday, January 15th, 2002 at Lakeridge Health-Bowmanville. Beloved wife of the late Daniel, Cherished and much loved mum of Joan (Jim Mansfield) and Clement (Christine Hurlbut) and treasured, adored and doting Grandma of Ashley and Zachary Mansfield. Loving sister of Pauline of Oshawa, Gilbert of London, U.K. and Annette of Capetown, South Africa. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Esther and her one brother Ralph (Canada). Cynthia was born in Capetown, South Africa on November 4th, 1921 and emigrated to Canada in 1966. She will be lovingly remembered for her great love of music, her lifelong career of teaching young children, her deep appreciation of nature and her compassion and caring of others. She was a devout and proud Christian in the Anglican Church. A Solemn Requiem Eucharist will be held at St George's Memorial Anglican Church (Bagot and Center Streets, Oshawa) on Friday, January 18th at 1:30 PM. Cremation to follow. January 11, 1940 - January 14, 2002. Sadly, on the morning of January 14, 2002, the beloved Ms. Catherine Joice (nee Hofland) passed on peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. Cathy was the former wife of Gord Joice and the loving mother of Kim Joice of Cobourg, Karen Joice of Pickering, and Lianne and her husband Todd Gallie of London. Beloved Nanny to her grandchildren James, Kyle, Kirsten and Jordan who were the sunshine of her life. Auntie Cathy to her many nieces and nephews. After a courageous battle with cancer, Reginald Gregory Morgan passed away peacefully, at Lakerdge Health Oshawa, on Monday, January 14, 2002. Reginald, dearly beloved husband of Sandra Stacey; father of Dennis, Paulette and Craig. Reginald was the son of the late Jean and Reuben Morgan, born in St. John s, Newfoundland. Surviving siblings are Dallas, Sharon, Gerald, Angus, Bruce, David and Donald. Reg, a proud Newfoundlander and friend to many was employed by Ontario Power Generation. Reg is sadly missed by his in-laws, Mary and Gord Stacey, Bill Stacey, Susan and Bill Fisher and Nathan and Stacey Fisher. Well recognized for over 55 years of leadership and entrepreneurship in the Electronics and Telecommunications Industries and the Canadian business community as founder and Chairman of the Lenbrook Group, founder of Clearnet Communications, NAD Electronics, AirIQ and numerous other enterprises; and a mentor and encourager to many. Loved by Baptists across Canada and throughout the world as an active leader at Uxbridge Baptist Church, in the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec, as past President of the Canadian Baptist Federation (now Canadian Baptist Ministries) and for his work in the Baptist World Alliance.
