Dear mother of Joan Hurlock (Paul) of Sacramento, California, Grant (Nan) of South Porcupine, Brian (Susan) of Gananoque, and Allan (Joanne) of Hamilton. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She has been a staunch champion of Oshawa since her arrival from England in 1927. She was a talented and competitive athlete involved in swimming all her life. She taught swimming to the developmentally handicapped for more than 25 years. She was an enthusiastic lawn bowler and curler most of her life. Public visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2002 at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 152 King St. E., Oshawa ( 905-433-5558).
