God took Kay peacefully to Heaven from home while surrounded by her loved ones on April 30, 2002. Beloved wife of Joseph and loving mother of Marcie, Lisa, Gordon and Robert. Loving grandmother of Fallon, Carly, Joshua, Logan, Michael, Jacob, Denika, Brianna, Dallas, Mackenzie, Madeleine and Jack. She will also be greatly missed by her many family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Issac Joques Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Ave. East, Pickering) on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

HOLMAN, Glen William -

Suddenly at Ajax on April 30, 2002 at the age of 45. Glen, beloved son of Wally and Joan. Best friend, inspiration, and hero to his soulmate Robin. Much loved father of Scott and his partner Michelle. Dearest grandfather of Erica and Austin. Beloved brother of Lynn (''Shirley''). Dear nephew of Doreen and Harold Pope of England. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Colleen and her husband Trevor Edwards and her brother-in-law Rick Spicer and his wife Marilyn. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins. SLADEN, Margaret -

Peacefully in her 90th year in Port Perry, Ontario. She is fondly remembered by her family and many friends and leaves behind her sons Peter Sladen (Nancy) and Rick Sheffer (Fran), seven grandchildren and step-grandchildren (Megan, Stephen, Ashley, Cavan and Brienne, Alexandra, and Chris). Her love of "the ridiculous", readiness with a new joke or story and love of life is a gift to us all. In place of a formal memorial service there will be an informal gathering to celebrate her life at the home of Peter and Nancy Sladen in Uxbridge, Ontario on June 8 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

RICHARDS, Marion Eileen (nee Alldread) -

(long-time resident of Durham County Senior Citizens Lodge, Orono) at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday, April 29, 2002, in her 88th year. Daughter of the late Mary and Matthew Alldread. Loved sister of Reta McRoberts of Bowmanville and her late husband Howard; John and Elsie Alldread of Newcastle; Norma and Harold Ransberry of Orono; Christine and Harvey Jones of Bowmanville; Velma and Don Parker of Newcastle; and Betty and Don McHolm of Newtonville. Predeceased by her sisters Gladys, Margaret and her husband Howard Pearce, and her brothers Talbot, Lloyd, Alfred, Jimmy, and Gilbert. Survived by sisters-in-law June, Celina, and Carolyn. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. FIELD, James Harold Benjamin (Big Jim) -

Entered quietly, gratefully into his final rest on Sunday April 28th, 2002, at home with his daughter in Bowmanville. Dedicated & loving husband for 55 yrs. of the late Catherine, (deceased 1995); proud father of Terry (deceased 1986) and wife Sharon (deceased 1985); Frances & Arthur Westgarth, Bowmanville; Sinclair 'Bud' & his wife Jane, Paris, ON; Patrick and his wife Nadia, Brantford; brother of Jack (Ruth), Belwood. Brother-in-law of Lois Ness & Gladys Coleman, Orillia. Jim's keen interest & love for airplanes began at an early age, resulting in a vast knowledge & an ability to fix anything that flew, & earned him high respect in the field of general aviation. As an aircraft engineer he worked proudly alongside his sons at their company, Brant Aero, Brantford, until a debilitating stroke in 1997. Jim was a caring gentleman who was happiest when his family was around him; he was a Christian who like to help people & know that his help made a difference. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Blaine (Patty), Cathy (Ross), Todd, Chris (Michelle), Will (Pauline), Inger (Kent), Chris Harper, Cathy (Greg), Carin (Jan), Roberta (Doug), Jennifer, Jamie (deceased 1982), Kevin and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. At his express wishes a Memorial Service will be held Friday May 3rd, 2002 at 1pm in Eden Mills Presbyterian Church. Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas. Devoted mother of son Brett, daughter Tracy and son-in-law Claus. Cherished companion of Don Blight. Adoring grandmother of Taylor and Maya. Loving sister of Betty (Jake), Pearl (Bobby), James (Mary), and Ilene (Robert), and sister-in-law of Jean. Patricia will be missed by her nieces and nephews and their children, as well as her beloved pets. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at St. George's Anglican Church, 51 Centre Street S. (at Bagot), Oshawa, at 2 p.m. A memorial celebration of Patricia's life will follow at the Oshawa Golf Club, 160 Alexandra, at 3:30 p.m. The family is profoundly grateful to the doctors and nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Oncology departments for the high quality of tender care Patricia received. Donations to the Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa or to T.A.G.S. Animal Rescue Service would be greatly appreciated.

Daughter of the late Sterling and Dora Hoare. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, she was employed at The Center for Anxiety and Depression, she was a former long time employee of Earl C. Smith Trucking, and was a grade school teacher in Canada. Dear mother of Rodney and his wife Michelle of Marysville and Randy and his wife Rence Patterson of Port Huron. Grandmother of 6 grandchildren: Renee, Rachel, Alicia, Christopher, Jessica and Tiffany. Will also be missed by niece Darlene and her husband Charles Stevens of Marysville and their children Tammy Hastings and Daniel Coyne. Funeral Services 11:00 am Wednesday inJowett Funeral Home 1634 Lapeer Ave. (at 17th St.), Port Huron Michigan with the Rev. Robert Trask, Rector of Grace Episcopal Church officiating.
