Wife of the late Carl Avery. Loving daughter of the late James Barker and Isabella (Thompson). Dear sister of the late Thomas Gordon Barker. Mrs Avery attended Raglan and Chalk Lake Public Schools and Port Perry High School. During World War II Mrs Avery was employed as inspector for the United Kingdom and Canada and later employed by T. Eaton Company and long time member of St. Mark's United Church singing choir and also sang with the Jubilee Choir. Survived by many cousins. Mrs. Avery will be resting at the W.C Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East Whitby. Monday April 8th 2-4 and 7-9pm.
