63, of Kingston, NS died Sunday, June 30, 2002 in the New Halifax Infirmary, Queen Elizabeth II, Halifax, NS. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late James and Isabella (Heath) Louden. She was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked with the VON, Durham Region, Ontario for over 20 years. She was a member of the Living With Cancer Group, Greenwood, NS, a member of the Valley Claymore Society, and a member of the Mid-Valley Palliative Care Association. Surviving are her husband, David; sons David (Kathleen Schmidt), Lower Sackville, NS; Donald (Nicole), Napanee, Ontario; four grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister Marilyn. Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the WARREN T. ROOP FUNERAL HOME, Middleton, NS, Reverend Ewen Moase officiating. Flowers accepted. Donations may be made to a Charity of choice.

Minnie gave quietly and generously of herself to her family, friends and church and will be sadly missed by those who lives she touched. His soul released from the hands of his darling Pat (Petunia) Kunanec and embraced by God on Friday, June 28, 2002. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Janie that he adored and his parents Cath and Bill Ward. He will also be missed by the Ward and Kunanec families, their spouses and children.
