Survived by her brother George and his wife Gertrude Belbin. Predeceased by her sisters Barbara and Hazel and her parents Gertrude and Clinton Belbin. Fondly remember by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, 23 Main Street South on Saturday, June 8th, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Bert, loving husband for 48 years of Lois (nee Unsworth) of Wilmot Creek. Sadly missed by his sons who appreciated him so much Jeffrey Howard Maxwell and his wife Sabine of Burlington, and Graham Douglas Maxwell of Toronto. Loving grandpa of Alex and Michael. passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Sunday June 2nd, in her 53rd year. Beloved wife of Vince Berry and daughter of June and Jack Goodman. Laraine will be missed by her sister Frances, aunts Betty (Florida) June (New York) & Jean (England) and her cousins. She will also be sadly missed by her pets Lady, Millie, Jessie & Gizmo. Born in Erith, Kent, England she came to Canada with her parents in 1958. She worked as a crossing guard at the corner of Simcoe & Olive for many years and also worked recently for Oshawa Community Care. At Laraine's request, a private family service will be held at the scattering of her ashes. If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to the Oshawa Humane Society.
