Peacefully at Glace Bay Hospital Nova Scotia on Wednesday August 14, 2002 at the age of 88. Former teacher at St. Gregory's School Oshawa; veteran of World War 11; graduate of Queen's University; and loved and respected teacher at Northview Heights C.V.I. for many years. Beloved husband of Sara (MacDonald), brother of Eileen (Conlin) of Oshawa, Bill Kinlin ofLincoln Park Michigan, and Marion (Dalby) of Oshawa. Missed by many nieces and nephews. On Wednesday, August 14, 2002, Marijtje Korte passed away in her 88th year, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville. Marijtje was the wife of the late Daniel Korte. The family had emigrated from the Netherlands to Canada in January 1952. Loving mother of Mary Bik (David LaRocque) of Hamilton, Betty Dougherty of Whitby and Daniel (Ardyth) of Bowmanville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jeffrey Bik, Michelle Bik (Serge), Kelly Dougherty, Michael Dougherty, McKenzie Korte, Reuben Korte and great-grandchildren Anna Dougherty, Merrick Dougherty, Mathieu Bellemare andSebastian Bellemare. passed away at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday, August 13th, 2002 at the age of 82. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was daughter of late Frank and Annie (McLeod) Rogers. Predeceased by her husband Frederick C. Muir in 1975, Isabelle will be sadly missed by her children Frank, Haviland, Ronald and June Muir-Duffy. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Cindy, Jeanette, Frankie, Lianne, Melisa and Sommer, her great grandchildren Jennifer and Christopher and by her two sisters Betty Hills of Caledonia and Helen Widdecombe of Whitby. Predeceased by her sister Berniece Tomlinson of Bowmanville. A funeral service was held at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Thursday, August 15th with Gary Clarke officiating. Interment took place at MOUNT LAWN Memorial Gardens in Whitby.

RICHARDSON (Nee St. Andrew), Marion Lenora -

The last of her family, Marion Lenora Richardson died August 13th, 2002 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa following a brief illness. Marion was born February 11, 1926 in Oshawa and is the beloved wife of the late Donald Leslie Richardson (December 2, 1995), the daughter of the late Mary Mabel (Nee: Law) and Joseph St. Andrews. Loving mother of Allin Wayne and his wife Susan Elizabeth (Nee: Aldred), Mark Steven, Donna Lenore and her husband Kevin Darwin Bickell. Cherished grandma of Jennifer Leanne Richardson, Daniel Wayne Richardson and Nanny to Leila Michelle Bickell. Also survived by her brother-in-Law Arthur Joseph Pitman and sister-in-law Lorna May (Nee: Singer) and sister-in-law Beulah May St. Andrews (Nee: Puffer). Predeceased by her brothers & sisters Mary E. St. Andrews (1903-1903), Dorothy Irene Andrews (1905-1999) (John Frederic), Josephine Mabel Little ( 1908-1990) (William Reginald), Thomas Charles, Douglas St. Andrews (1911-1980) (Marion Nee: Kennedy), Archie Hubert St. Andrews (1915-1915), Joseph Geoffry St. Andrews (1916-1983) (Frances Roberta Nee: Owen), Ruth Alice Winnifred Prothero (1919-1993) (David Carleton: Joe), David Leslie St. Andrews (1921-2001), William Kenneth St. Andrews (1925-1998) (Mary Anne Nee: Recalla). Marion was an avid goIfer enjoying her time on the course with all the wonderful ladies of Country Lane GoIf Course. Marion. achieved one of her goals of a hole in one on the 14th hole September 17, 1985. Marion will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late William Harry Watts and Jessie Watts. Sadly missed by his cousin Larry Burt of Port Perry. Uncle of David Watts of Beaverton and Richard Williams of Scugog.
