BOTT, John -

At the Oshawa General Hospital, with his family by his side, John passed away on Friday, September 13th, 2002, in his 36th year. Loving and devoted husband of Tammy Felfoldi. Proud Dad of Julian and Dane. Affectionate and caring son of Brenda and Howard Bott. John will be especially missed as Big Brother to Steven (Tayna) and Lisa. Special uncle of Nico and Brandon. John will not be forgotten by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the McEachnie Funeral Home Ajax, on Sunday September 15th, 2002 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 17th, 2002 in our Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation will take place and a private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by John's family.

DEJONG Ashley Dawn Danielle -

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ashley, on Monday, September 9, 2002, in her Daddy's and Mommy's arms. Ashley was the beloved daughter of Martin and Joanne DeJong. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ian Turner and sisters Kristy, Samantha and Melissa DeJong. Ashley was a cherished granddaughter of John and Barbara DeJong and Virginia Martel and the late Rene Martel. Ashley was the beloved niece of Sue (Paul) Lucas, Rick (Cathy) DeJong, Lynda Pitchford, Wendy Prowse, Colleen (John) Diensthuber, Wendy (James) Parker, Eugene Martel and will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins. She will also be greatly missed by her special nurse Susan Calabrese. Ashley was born on April 6, 2000. Shortly after birth she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer). Even though very young, Ashley touched the lives of many. PAWLIN, Bryan Edmund

After a long battle with cancer, at home in Port Perry in the loving company of his best friend and wife Judy. Loving father of the late Kristopher. Bryan was honoured this year for his passion and leadership of Port Perry's Annual Yard Sale/Fundraiser, for the Hospital for Sick Children. In memory of his son, he initiated the event and led it for the past 10 years. For his dedication the Port Perry Annual Yard Sale was engraved on the wall of the Hospital for Sick Children on June 27, 2002. Dear son of Glennis and loved son-in-law of Doris Swan. Bryan will be remembered for his life loving humorous personality, impish grin, and heart-warming generosity by everyone who was touched by his presence. Dear brother to Cameron (Marion), Larry (Linda), Barry (Peggy),Ronnie (Rose), Wayne (Nalini), Bonnie(Ron) Lowry, Barb MacPherson, Florence (Ray)Pack, Edith Bissonette.
