It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Rachel. Peacefully surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 12, 2003 at 3:40 pm in her 71st year, my mother entered into eternal rest. Beloved wife of Jack Dye. Loving mother of Bill, Lonnie, and Karen. Loving grandmother of Jamie, Daniel, Chris, Shauna, Sondra, Emily & Jaime. At the family's request a private ceremony will be held. She will be sadly missed by all. The family stood in a circle of love holding hands as the angels came to take her to Heaven, and as we watched her go, the gates of Heaven closed behind her. Even though we cannot see her she is still with us in our hearts. As a mother, wife, grandmother, and now an Angel she meant the world to us. We would like to thank all the doctors who helped with her care,the nurses on 9 Main, the social worker Judy and the Chaplin Gordon.
