Loving father of Carol Fillion, David Michie (Sherri), Louise (Sue) May, Danny Michie (Andrea). Step father of Candy Shelley, George Atkinson (Dianne), and Paul Atkinson (Jennifer). Dear brother in law of Bernard & Linda Jones. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren James, Matthew, Tara, Tanya, Jennifer, Cheyenne, Chantelle, Amanda, Philip, Tess, Lisa, Corey, Renne, Danielle, Eric and by his great granddaughter Jennifer. Predeceased by his brothers Bill, John "Bud", Orton, Roland, Austin, and Edward. Sadly missed by all of his family & friends. Funeral service will be held at Thornton Cemetery Chapel on Saturday January 18, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation. Loved brother of Diane Richer and Michel Laurence, God Father of Genevieve, and son-in-law of Bob and Eila Ledingham all of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by many treasured friends and relatives. Peacefully at his home in Perris, California on November 10th, 2002, at the age of 83. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, and formerly a resident of Toronto. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Betty). Lovingly remembered by his eight children: Patrick Drake and his wife Joyce of Brampton, Michael Drake and his wife Judy of Whitby, Ruth Drake and her husband Lutz Krueger of Whitby, Paul Drake and his wife Anita of Mission Viejo, California, Mary Monk of Oshawa, Daniel Drake and his wife Karen of Mesa, Arizona, Julie Schembri and her husband Charlie Hargraves of Pickering, and Annie Drake and her fianc Shepard Bielec of Perris, California - and their families, including over 30 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Survived by sisters Marie and Loretta. An employee of Compair Inc. (Kellogg-American Air Compressor) for over 25 years, Pat was transferred to Southern California in 1966 as Plant Manager. He retired to his ranch, Palo Verdes in 1986, where he lived an active life, involved in community affairs, and surrounded by his beloved pets. During World War II, Pat served with the 12th Field Regiment, 11th Battery originally based in Aldershot, Surrey, England.
