Beloved wife and devoted mother, will sadly missed by her husband Charles and daughter Christine (Goyne) & her husband Richard Hoogsteen. Survived by her sister Mary of South Wales and brother Christopher of London, England. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home on Thursday May 1st from 12 - 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service held at 2 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. passed away on Saturday, April 26th, 2003 in his 71st year. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara; children Jim, Douglas, Stephen, Michael, Raymond (Jane), and Anne; grandchildren Jonathan and Bradley. Jim also leaves behind his sister Florence. Predeceased by sister Lillian. Jim was retired from Canada Post after 36 years of service. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 29th, 2003 at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A funeral service will follow in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at his home in Kirby, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 26, 2003, in his 66th year. Cherished husband for 27 years and best friend of Carol (nee Rolfe).
