Loving brother of Kurtis Blackford of Elizabethville, Ont. and Lisa Blackford of Oshawa. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME Ltd., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday, September 5th, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Mark to the Head Injury Association of Durham would be appreciated.

In her 92nd year. Loved mother of Marlene and her husband Gerry Hornung, Lenore and her husband Wayne Simpson, Howard and his wife Pat Cawley. Predeceased by her husband Frederick, 1962. Dear great grandmother of Mikkale, Dana, Carley, Kelly, Connor, Logan, Sydney and Adam. Predeceased by great grandson Luke Hornung, brother Jack Broad and his wife Melba, Art and Mage Broad, Blake and Shirley, brother-in-law Henry Mundt. Survived by sister-in-law Erna Mundt of Fordwick, Ontario. A service has taken place.

Peacefully, on Sunday, August 31, 2003, at her home in Port Perry, at age 62. Pat (nee Hoskin), dearly loved wife of the late Bob Fletcher. Loved mother of Diana of Port Perry, and Scott and his wife Tammy of Goderich. Loving grandmother of Robert Jake "RJ". Beloved daughter of Muriel and the late Frank Hoskin. Dear sister of Joan and her husband Harvey Graham of Port Perry, Larry Hoskin of Calgary, and Ron Hoskin and his wife Sandy of Blackstock. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Pat Fletcher will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. with Reverend Karen Bursey officiating. MILLER, Grant Stewart
(Retired G. M. Employee). passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a long battle with cancer at Taunton Mills Nursing Home, Whitby in his 81st. year. Grant, beloved husband of the late Lila. Loving father of Sharon and her friend Jim, Bonnie, Susan and Don, Terry and Susanne, David, Gary and Janina, and Chris and Alex. Dear grandfather of John, Jamie, Michael, Laura, Brenda, Scott, Cory, Terri-Lynn, Joshua, Shannon, Ryan, Jennifer, Leah, Kailey, Jeffrey and great-grandfather of Justin, Chelsea, Zachary, Nicole, Logan, Kaitlyn, Trevor, and Joanna. Fondly remembered by his brother Wayne and his wife Shirley. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Gertrude Miller, and by his sister Edna. Interment, GROVESIDE Cemetery, Brooklin. Loving husband of the late Elsa Helen Claire Young of Lachine and Montreal, Quebec and the late Gweneth Woodburn Swift of Oshawa. Former resident at White Cliffe Terrace Retirement Residence, Courtice, former resident of Oshawa and longtime resident of Montreal, Quebec; 57 year summer resident at Lake MacDonald, Quebec. Survived by sons John (Carol), Alan (Elizabeth), Fraser and daughter Susan. Will also be missed by sister MargaretGarrett (Cecil), sisters-in-law Merlie and Ada (Broadbridge), grandsons Brett and James (Leslie), granddaughter Jan and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews together with members of Gwen's and Ada's families. Predeceased by brothers James (Elizabeth) and Charles (Merlie) and sister Eleanor Raper (Frank). Cremation has already taken place. Memorial service at Kingsview United Church, 505 Adelaide Ave. E. Best known for her courage as a war bride from England. Best loved for her kindness as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.
