Loving mother of Jim Gower & his wife Laurene of Barrie, Edna Barnes & her husband Ted of Oshawa, Millie Brown of Perrytown, Ruth Butler of Courtice & Peggy Wilson & her husband Harvey of Cobourg. Predeceased by her daughter Anne, sons in law Arthur Brown and Murray Butler. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Annie worked for many years at the Oshawa General Hospital and will be fondly remembered by many co-workers and friends. A private family service was held in Oshawa on Saturday, August 9, 2003. WILSON, Robert Mason
passed away on August 2, 2003 with his loving family by his side. Bob's wife and best friend of nearly 60 years, Celia; daughters Wendy (Jim), Patti (Rodger) and grandchildren Lisa (Chris), Jayme, Kyle, Abbi and Craig will remember him for the tremendous love and devotion he bestowed upon them and the honourable way in which he lived all aspects of his life. He will be sadly missed by his brother Russ (Marg), extended family and many friends. Bob was a proud and dedicated employee of General Motors for 50 years. Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Whitby on Friday August 1, 2003 in her 89th year. Ivy, beloved wife of the late Lionel. Loving mother of Bernice and her husband Lloyd Davis, Leonard and his wife Audrey, Ken and his wife Annette, Gord and his wife Karen, Robert, and Barb and her husband Brad Murphy. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and by her many relatives and friends. Interment will take place at Stephenson Cemetery, Port Sydney, Ontario on Tuesday August 5, 2003 at 11am where family and friends are welcome to attend. In memoriam, donations made to the Community Living South Muskoka, 23 Balls Drive, Bracebridge, Ontario or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

MULLAN, Joseph
On Friday, August 1, 2003 at the Shepherd Lodge, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving father of Dennis and his wife Kristina and Patricia and her husband Joseph Kralik. Cherished grandfather of Paul and his fiancee Jennifer, Brian, Keri-Lee and her fiance Andrew, and Derek. Dear brother of Peter Mulla, Marge McMullin, both of Winnipeg and Ann West of British Columbia. Predeceased by his parents Nellie and Alexander and his brother Steve. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr. Mudie and the staff at Shepherd Lodge for their gentle care and kindness. VAN DYK, Laury-Anne
Suddenly at home in Oshawa on Friday, August 1, 2003 at age 36. Laury-Anne Van Dyk, born July 3, 1967. Left to mourn her passing is father Peter (Catherine) and mother Marg. Brothers and sisters include Kelly, Troy, Chad, P.J., Kate, Cindy, Eric, Ian, Kyle, Sean, Lisa and Tim. Remembered also by her many aunts, uncles and extended family near and afar. Due to the welcoming atmosphere in the Oshawa area, the family has decided to inter Laury-Anne where she was most comfortable. Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th. Laury-Anne's Pastor Steve Sparling officiated the service. The family requests a donation to your local Epilepsy Association in lieu of flowers.

WEBB, Phyllis
Peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2003, in her 95th year, at Uxbridge, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Harold Webb and dearest mother of Shirley, Pat and Ted (all deceased) and Jane of Uxbridge. Loving mother-in-law to Eileen Webb and Arthur (Chris) Christie. Dear sister to the late Winnifred Allison. Phyllis is the cherished grandmother of Douglas, Gregory, Bradley, Matthew, Janice, Cheryl and Jennifer and great-grandmother to Melissa, Darren, Eric, Brendan, Alexandra, Connor, Madison, Ethan and Megan. Relatives and friends will be received at the Low and Low Funeral Home, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, August 3rd, 2003. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Uxbridge on Monday, August 4th, 2003, with visitation at the church from 1-2 p.m. Refreshments will be served at Trinity United Church, following the service. Burial will be the next day, Tuesday, August 5 at Emily Cemetery, Omemee. For our Fowlers Corners and Peterborough friends, there will be visitation in the McCrea Chapel in the Cemetery from 1-2 p.m., followed by a short graveside service at 2 p.m. A luncheon will be served at 2 p.m. A luncheon will be served at the Bethel United Church after the service.
